Size is always in style and this 6’5″ forward has it. There were a bunch of very talented big men at “The Expo”, but Deneve more than held his own against some of the best of the best. He is crafty inside with good footwork and patience showcasing the willingness to shot fake, spin, and pivot around in order to finish. Defensively the Whitko High School senior has the requisite strength to hold his own on the block as well.

Deneve will be one of the top returners for Whitko High School this season after averaging 7.4 points and 5.1 rebounds per game as a junior. He has now grown to 6’5″-6’6″ and had a strong summer with Region Force 17u. Look for him to be a solid under-the-radar prospect for small college programs to check out at The Expo. We look forward to getting a good look at this forward on September 20th.
