I am a good defending forward that handle the ball when needed,I am a great rebounder and shot blocker, can get to the rim ,makes good passes and hustle plays

Kenny’s blend of athleticism and physicality makes him really hard to handle inside of the arc. He can drive it left in a straight line from the high post, elbows, and short corners, but really excels as a rim-runner and offensive rebounder. The Beech Grove High School junior, who transferred from Lawrence North, should step into a large role in the Hornets front court and be a difference-maker this season. He is a consistent matchup problem and that was on display at “The Expo.”

We’ve always been a fan of this 6’4″ forward. He caught our attention during some Lawrence North High School open gyms with his non-stop motor, tenacity on the glass, and athleticism as a finisher around the rim. Now, after transferring to Beech Grove High School for his junior season, Kenny will have a chance to take on a much larger role at the varsity level.

When I went to watch Lawrence North workout in September I went up to Coach Giffin and asked about Kenny. At the time, I didn’t know who he was but his non-stop motor and relentless rebounding ability stood out enough that I needed to know who he was. Then, I got the chance to see him again at our Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. The 6’3″ forward is still on the Watch List for now, but there is a lot to like about his game.

After watching him at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp, we quickly saw Kenny again the following week when attending open gym at Lawrence North High School. The 6’3″ forward is one of the better offensive rebounders in the class right now playing with a relentless motor and impressive physicality. His athleticism and strength allow him to finish around the basket consistently as well. Really like what he brings to the table as an interior presence.
