One of the more balanced sectionals in the 2026 IHSAA Tournament, Class 3A Sectional 32 at Boonville delivered with two games, one with big time performances, and the other was an absolute blockbuster classic that came down to the final possession. Here are nine players that were standout performers on Sectional Semi-Final Friday at Boonville:

Evansville Memorial

[player_tooltip player_id='1560976' first='Maxx' last='Anslinger'] | 6'3” | Senior | Wing

The versatile senior wing got going in the second half of the Tigers semi-final loss to Evansville Bosse on Friday night. Smooth offensive game that showed his ability to score it from all over the floor. He plays with a physicality on both ends of the floor that make him a tough matchup offensively while being able to guard bigger and stronger players on the defensive end. He's a high IQ and high motor player that rebounded it well.

Stats: 21 points | 6 rebounds

[player_tooltip player_id='3545757' first='Luke' last='Dockery'] | 6'2” | Senior | Guard

[player_tooltip player_id='3545757' first='Luke' last='Dockery'] was a flame thrower for Evansville Memorial in the semi-final loss to Evansville Bosse. The Bulldogs would stretch their lead out and Dockery would answer every time knocking down big shot after big shot. Fluid athlete that really knows how to get open. A bit of a slow release, but when he has space, he shoots it with surreal confidence. Extremely high motor that impacted the game even when not scoring with his rebounding ability from the guard spot.

Stats: 15 points | 8 rebounds

[player_tooltip player_id='3545758' first='Dru' last='Ellis'] | 6'2” | Sophomore | Wing

The highly skilled wing came into his own late in the season getting inserted into the starting lineup and showed his potential as a game changer on Friday night for the Evansville Memorial Tigers. High IQ and active wing on both ends of the floor. He's really good playing without the ball offensively. Cuts well to get open. Good hands that catches everything and is able to finish around the basket. On the ball, he's a slippery driver with a crafty handle. Plays on balance and plays stronger than he looks. High level defender that's disciplined on and off the ball.

Stats: 11 points | 4 rebounds

Evansville Bosse

[player_tooltip player_id='1760994' first='Dorion' last='Bowen'] | 6'6” | Senior | Guard

The best prospect in Sectional 32 showed exactly why he is that in Evansville Bosse's Semi-Final win over Evansville Memorial. The highly skilled and versatile guard was in attack mode from the start and was unstoppable throughout the game getting to whatever spot he wanted on the floor. His shot diet was one of a player forcing a bit, but he made up for it on the glass on both ends as he finished with a double-double leading the Bulldogs on to the Sectional Championship on Saturday Night.

Stats: 33 points | 12 rebounds

[player_tooltip player_id='2172596' first='Marrius' last='Harris'] | 6'3” | Senior | Guard

Took a little bit for the silky smooth senior guard to get going, but [player_tooltip player_id='2172596' first='Marrius' last='Harris'] was able to make plays for the Bulldogs without having to score. Long and lanky guard that competes on the defensive end. Solid rebounder that was able to push in transition. Did a good job not forcing the issue when his shot wasn't falling. Was able to get in the lane to make plays for himself as well as his teammates.

Stats: 17 points | 5 rebounds | 3 assists

Boonville

[player_tooltip player_id='3479392' first='Grant' last='Davis'] | 6'1” | Senior | Forward

In the second matchup with Heritage Hills during the regular season, [player_tooltip player_id='3479392' first='Grant' last='Davis'] knocked down four 3's being a huge part of the Pioneers comeback win. The senior forward came up big again in the Pioneers one point loss on Friday night in the Sectional Semi-Final. Perfect role player that does his job as well as anyone around. Competes on the defensive end even when giving up several inches to his matchup. He's a good screen setter and off ball cutter that does a good job getting himself open and knocks down his open opportunities from three.

Stats: 12 points | 2 rebounds

[player_tooltip player_id='2140389' first='Jaxon' last='McKain'] | 6'4” | Junior | Wing

Up and down night for the Boonville Junior Wing. Early on struggled finishing his opportunities at the rim, but credit to him for staying aggressive. He's a physical driver that likes to get to his left hand and spin back right in the lane. Does a good job playing through contact. Versatile defender that plays with a high motor. Was a really good rebounder on Friday night that showed his ability to push in transition as well as initiate offense in the half court.

Stats: 14 points | 6 rebounds

Heritage Hills

[player_tooltip player_id='1560951' first='Jake' last='Prior'] | 6'6” | Senior | Wing | Committed to Saint Francis

The long and athletic Saint Francis Commit was steady all game. When points were hard to come by early on, Prior was able to get shots to go from various spots on the floor. Smooth stroke from three that does a great job reading screens to get open. Throughout the season he has continued to get better off the dribble and showcased the improving skill rising over defenders in the midrange as well as getting all the way to the basket. Will have to put on weight in college, but was able to impact shots at the rim in this game with his length.

Stats: 16 points | 2 rebounds | 2 blocks

[player_tooltip player_id='2140443' first='Tait' last='Wetzel'] | 6'6” | Junior | Forward

The Junior Forward came up big in the second half, including in the closing moments as Wetzel scored the game winning basket with 1.6 seconds to play. The physical forward was able to take advantage of his mismatch scoring on the low block. Continues to show his expanded perimeter game. Had a really nice shot fake and drive from the corner for a big one hand dunk. He's a high level rebounder with an improving motor.

Stats: 14 points | 6 rebounds
