Sheridan vs. Taylor (Class 2A Sectional 39 @ Elwood H.S.)

Sheridan is 18-4 on the season led by talented junior sharpshooter [player_tooltip player_id='2140451' first='Trey' last='Page']. He is averaging 19.1 points per game while shooting an impressive 79-204 (38.7%) from three-point range. Senior forward Devon Hamilton adds 16.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561081' first='Jax' last='Peerman'] averages 10.0 points and 6.0 assists. Meanwhile, 16-8 Taylor features a three-headed monster of their own. 6'4" senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2272826' first='Javionne' last='Harris'] averages a double-double of 16.7 points and 10.2 rebounds per game while classmate [player_tooltip player_id='1561122' first='Drey' last='McClatchey'] also puts up 16.7 points per game. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='2135242' first='Keyshawn' last='Galloway'] adds 14.4 points per game. Sheridan won the regular season matchup 59-53.

Park Tudor vs. Cardinal Ritter (Sectional 42 @ Cardinal Ritter H.S.)

Park Tudor's 14-8 record might not jump out at you, but they have not lost to a Class 2A opponent all season. They feature a balanced attacking led by [player_tooltip player_id='2400045' first='Keylan' last='Smith'], [player_tooltip player_id='2140369' first='Griffyn' last='Robisch'], [player_tooltip player_id='2573024' first='Asher' last='Arkenau'], and others. As for Cardinal Ritter, 6'7" junior center [player_tooltip player_id='3068383' first='Devin' last='Bolden'] gives them a chance in every game. He averages 21.3 points and 12.4 rebounds per game. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1990762' first='Cheick' last='Wade'] adds 15.1 points per game.

Sullivan vs. West Vigo (Class 2A Sectional 47 @ North Knox H.S.)

West Vigo has rattled off 10 straight wins to improve to 16-7 on the season. They lost by 20 points, 65-45, against Sullivan at the Wabash Valley Classic, but their recent success would indicate that the Vikings will be more competitive this time around. The interior battle between 6'9" junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2470672' first='Reed' last='Dougherty'] and Sullivan 6'6" junior [player_tooltip player_id='2807644' first='Paul' last='Ridgway'] plus 6'6" Wabash College commit [player_tooltip player_id='1561438' first='Cooper' last='Bock']. Ridgway averages 17.2 points and 7.6 rebounds while Bock puts up 15.7 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561008' first='Christian' last='Bryan'] scores 16.9 points per game as well.

Washington Township vs. Marquette Catholic (Class 1A Sectional 49 @ Kouts H.S.)

Both of these teams have spent time in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 1A Top 10 this season. Neither were ranked in our final regular season poll, but it is very possible that both are underrated. Washington Township is 19-5 having won nine in a row. Two of those five losses came against #1 Kouts who they could play for a third time in the Sectional 49 championship. Similarly, Marquette Catholic's only Class 1A loss of the season was against Kouts. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2791286' first='Brogan' last='Banker'] is the player to watch for Washington Township. He averages 13.5 points per game while Connor Parks adds 13.2 points per game. Marquette Catholic, who have won six straight and 10 of their last 11, features junior points guard [player_tooltip player_id='2368903' first='Vaughn' last='Rael-Kludt'] who puts up 16.7 points and 4.8 assists per game. Fellow junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2414957' first='Josiah' last='Mays'] is one to watch as well. He averages 14.8 points per game.

Monroe Central vs. Randolph Southern (Class 1A Sectional 56 @ Lincoln H.S.)

Monroe Central is playing their best basketball of the season having won seven straight games to improve to 18-4. The Golden Bears are ranked #9 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 1A Top 10. Sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2553970' first='Luke' last='Morgan'] averages 18.0 points per game while 6'4" senior forward Ta'Shaun Beatty dominates the paint. The big man averages 17.3 points and 13.8 rebounds per game. College interest for the unsigned senior is picking up. Don't sleep on Randolph Southern though. They are 19-5 and lost by just five points against Monroe Central early in the season. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='2882772' first='Grady' last='Coyle'] leads the team in scoring 14.3 points per game while senior Noah Allen averages 13.2 points and 5.3 assists per game. Junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2882773' first='Fenton' last='Coyle'] adds 11.5 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
