Bowen, a recent Southern Miss commit, played very well against some of the best competition in the state on Sunday. A move-in from Memphis, the 6’6″ wing immediately was the best player at Evansville Bosse High School this season averaging 17.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.5 steals per game leading the Bulldogs in each category. His length, size, and athleticism makes him a real two-way force that projects very well to the next level.

One of the most talented unsigned seniors in the state, the 6’6″ athletic wing finished with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists in a 74-60 loss to Princeton Community.

Dorion Bowen Dorion Bowen 6'6" | SF Evansville Bosse | 2026 State IN is a highlight waiting to happen every time he touches the ball. Started off slow in Saturday’s regional loss to Princeton, but showed his big time potential as a driver of the basketball in the second half on his way to 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists. His combination of size and skill was on full display showcasing his feel for the game and court vision. Plays with a high motor and is a really solid rebounder on both ends.

In my opinion, since Dorion Bowen Dorion Bowen 6'6" | SF Evansville Bosse | 2026 State IN was declared eligible in December 27th, he has been the best player in Southwest Indiana, and it’s all thanks to his versatility. Comfortable playing on or off the ball, he stays aggressive on the offensive end, but balances his scoring opportunities with his elite vision and playmaking skills to get his teammates open looks.

Based on the final score alone it was safe to assume something special happened in Evansville Bosse’s 102-45 win over Madisonville North Hopkins (KY). Bowen, who is really proving himself as one of the top unsigned seniors in the state of Indiana, posted a triple-double of 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists for the Bulldogs. The skilled 6’6″ guard should continue to attract Division I attention.
