The Junior guard was on an absolute heater in the Bulldogs two wins over Southridge and Austin. Got going running the floor and getting transition corner 3’s. In the half court he was able to get this middle game going where he’s excellent off the bounce being able to stop on a dime and rise up over defenders. Has a chance to be the Bulldogs leading scorer next season.

One of the top up-and-coming guards in the Evansville area, Barnes had a solid sophomore season in a very talented Bosse backcourt. Barnes’ athleticism jumped out immediately and remained a constant throughout both games. A bouncy, high-motor guard, he thrived by pushing the pace, sharing the ball, and making the right reads on the move. He showed his scoring ability with a knockdown three and touch on his jumper, but his biggest impact came attacking the rim where he finished with acrobatic layups and elevated above defenders as an above-the-rim presence.
