You can for sure say that [player_tooltip player_id='1561513' first='Noah' last='Smith'] went out swinging in his last ever high school game. You can also say that there was not a more important player on the floor than what Smith was for Plainfield because when he went out with his 3rd foul, the game complexity switched in favor of Pike. Smith hit tough jumper and made plays all over the floor, which led to him scoring a game-high 23 points.

I think the top performance of the night regardless of how many points was scores was from Pike senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2892469' first='Ian' last='Macon']. With Pike's stars struggling just a tad, it was the underrated Macon who stepped up in many ways leading to him having a tied team-high 14 points. He made the game-winning play with his steal at the end of the game to advance Pike.

It may have took him a little bit to find his groove, but [player_tooltip player_id='2538892' first='Landon' last='Lampley'] turned it on for the Red Devils when they needed it the most. It felt like he was the driving-force behind the comeback Pike had making so many plays in the lane and around the rim. He also fined with a team-high 14 points.

One of the best stock-risers we have seen in the state played his final game of high school career last night and he put up an elite performance. After not starting due to a hand injury, he came in off the bench carried Ben Davis in many ways as he tried to lead them to victory. He had a game-high 26 points in his final appearance for Ben Davis.

The steady force for the Bulldogs night like it normally is was the play of senior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561114' first='Brandon' last='Addison']. It felt like Addison was the one to kick off the spark for Brownsburg and just kept it going all night long. The dynamic guard finished with 19 points.

To put it very simply, there was not a player who hit more big shots than what [player_tooltip player_id='2140327' first='Branden' last='Sharpe'] did at the Plainfield Sectional on Friday night. Finishing with a team-high 22 points, Sharpe was dangerous from behind the arc and was not afraid to mix it up in the lane either. Brownsburg will need another big time performance by him vs Pike if they want to cut down the nets on Saturday night.
