The Shooting Guards are prospects that make shots, and in doing so, space the floor for others. They move well without the basketball and, with the ball in their hands, consistently knock down shots from behind the arc.

Terry is a household name in New England and should be one of the top perimeter scorers in the region this winter. The CATS Academy guard has the ability to score out of isolation situations with the ball in his hands, but excels as a movement shooter that spaces the floor. His release is quick and his mechanics are clean, and when combined with his positional size, allows him to get his shot off at almost any time. His athleticism is an asset as a finisher around the rim and because he can score at all three levels, his shooting has to be respected that much more.

Azor has the ability to be one of the top 3-and-D prospects in the region this winter. He transferred into Northfield Mount Hermon and is primed to announce himself as one of the top shooters around. He does a great job of staying wide in transition, can make shots from anywhere inside half-court, and has an extremely quick release on his jumper. He has the ability to make shots off the catch and also by creating space with the ball in his hands, using a drop dribble to keep defenders honest. Defensively, he has the ability to lock-down the opposition with his quickness, length, and toughness.

Ivy was one of the better performers during the scholastic period, when he took full advantage of the opportunity to announce his presence in the region. The Lawrence Academy prospect has as good of mechanics on his jumper as anyone around. He's elite in catch and shoot situations, doing his work early to be shot ready on the catch. He moves well without the basketball and also shows the ability to create space to get into his mid-range game. He does a nice job of elevating into his jumper and has the ability to get it off at any time. On the other end, he's a high IQ defender that does a good job of being in the right spot in rotations.

Fauver can change a game with his ability to score the basketball and has the chance to do just that this winter for Hotchkiss. A big guard, he does a nice job of using his size to his advantage and is able to get his shot off against almost any defender. He has great length and uses it to his advantage as a finisher around the rim. Right now, he's at his best in catch and shoot situations, shining as a floor spacer in the half-court. He's a good ball mover, can put the ball on the floor for multiple bounces, and does a nice job of scoring in the mid-range. He'll need to get stronger, but plays with a high basketball IQ and good feel for the game.

Ryan should be one of the better freshman in the region as he begins his high school career this winter at Austin Prep. The lefty guard has good positional size, and, as a coaches son, knows how to play the game. He's got some on ball ability, but has impressed with his ability to make shots from behind the arc. He does a nice job of spacing the floor, doesn't rush into bad decisions, and can really shoot it when he's open and gets eyes on the rim. He leverages his shooting by attacking bad closeouts and has the ability to finish plays in the paint as a scorer or a facilitator.
