On Sunday, August 24th, I attended Holy Cross' prospect camp at their campus in Worcester, MA. 40+ players were in attendance and there were recruitable players at ALL college levels. I'll be having coverage throughout this week, so stay tuned.

Read: Holy Cross prospect camp: standout big men

Read: Holy Cross prospect camp: impressive guards

Below are some wings who excelled at camp.

Reddicks was the most without a doubt the most physically imposing wing at Holy Cross camp. The 6-foot-5 rising senior is a bulldozer on takes to the hoop and totally discards anyone in his way; he's too big for most guards and wings but too quick and agile for most bigs, which makes him a matchup nightmare. The athleticism at the cup is also there — he had multiple high flying dunks in traffic after attacking closeouts. Once Reddicks improves his feel for the game and shooting, he'll be a scholarship level wing that tons of schools will be in on. The motor and toughness are already there, which is a great sign.

Rigney was one of the more impressive prospects at Holy Cross camp — the 6-foot-6 senior came all the way from the west coast and was successful from virtually everyone on the court. He's big and lanky, which allows him to finish over bigs in the paint and against smaller guards in the post, but he can also handle the ball and get to the rim against bigger forwards. Additionally, he can also make shots from the mid range and three and does a good job finding teammates once the help comes. I'm sure he'll get scholarship looks as a result of his size and skillset, but some added muscle and balance would do him wonders in that regard.

Wheeler is only a rising sophomore, but he more than held his own at Holy Cross camp against a bunch of college-ready prospects from the D3-D1 level. The 6-foot-4 wing does an excellent job keeping his line on drives to the rim and has the toughness to take contact in the paint and still finish — I was really impressed with his downhill driving ability and strength, especially for his age. Wheeler needs to improve his three point shot, but he could totally get some scholarship looks once he does so. Bright future ahead for him, and I could see him making an impact for MacDuffie this season.

Dixon is an intriguing wing without much of an offensive weakness. The 6-foot-3 rising senior can shoot it from all three levels, and he has the handle to get to wherever he wants on the floor. He had a bunch of really impressive takes to the hoop and showcased the ability to finish above the rim with both hands. I also liked some of the reads he made in the pick and roll, like a couple pocket passes and weak side spray outs. Dixon is either a really high level D3 player or someone who should potentially be garnering some scholarship interest.

Reilly has a lot of prototypical wing skills. The rising senior is 6-foot-4 and long, but he can do more with his handle than many people his size. He's able to get to the hoop using a variety of dribble moves, but he can also shoot the ball from all three levels and knows how to play within the flow of the offense. Reilly looks a lot better — both physically and skill-wise — since the last time I saw him, which bodes really well for his development moving forward. If he has a big senior season, I could see him going prep for a post grad year and eventually playing very high level D3 ball.
