, as he typically does, exhibited an ability to be a legitimate difference maker on both ends of the floor due in large part to his insanely high motor, sound feel for the game, and the versatility he possesses in his overall skillset. Dixon plays with fearless and selfless mindset that often is evident in the different ways he finds to impact the game— initiating offense and being a willing passer to get his teammates more involved, getting downhill and attacking driving angles to finish strong at the basket with solid body control, convert on spot up opportunities from three point range, and even pressure the ball to be disruptive at the point of attack and turnover opposing ball handlers over.

will look to build off his strong summer and showcase much of his ability to be effective both as a floor general from the point guard spot while also providing scoring from different areas on the court at the two guard spot. Dixon has shown an impressive ability to initiate offense and be a trustworthy decision maker in combination with his ability to be an aggressive downhill attacker and perimeter shot maker and that should continue to be on full display throughout the course of this fall.

Dixon is an intriguing wing without much of an offensive weakness. The 6-foot-3 rising senior can shoot it from all three levels, and he has the handle to get to wherever he wants on the floor. He had a bunch of really impressive takes to the hoop and showcased the ability to finish above the rim with both hands. I also liked some of the reads he made in the pick and roll, like a couple pocket passes and weak side spray outs. Dixon is either a really high level D3 player or someone who should potentially be garnering some scholarship interest.

was productive at both guard spots. Aggressive in his attack of the basket, Dixon impressed with his ability to play through contact and generate a bevy of trips to the free throw line. Dixon also demonstrated some of his perimeter skillset, knocking down outside shots from three point distance off the catch. Dixon also impressed with his feel for the game in the ways he was able to do a lot of the little things to impact winning— being a willing passer in Northern Highland’s offense, a reliable and trustworthy decision maker, and his willingness to crash the glass and rebound the basketball.
