Windy City War featured some of the premier teams from the Midwest. Prep Hoops had tons of coverage from the event. We continue to dive into it here in Windy City War: 2027 National Prospects Pt 2!

[player_tooltip player_id='2194315' first='Dooney' last='Johnson'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2391400' first='Team' last='Herro'] 16U)

Johnson has such an exciting game! He plays a fun style of basketball that will make fans love him! Long and lanky two guard who is ultra smooth with the rock in his hands. He is explosive off the bounce playing above the rim with massive dunks. Crisp shot maker as well pulling up from two along with knocking down threes at a solid clip. Slick passer who distributes with a ton of flair. No doubt high-major prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1847792' first='Donovan' last='Davis'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2391400' first='Team' last='Herro'] 16U)

Davis is a bruising and athletic combo forward that is excellent in transition. At his size and strength he completely overpowers opponents by throwing down big dunks. Handles it well for his size, gets on the offensive glass for second chance points, and flashed as a shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140949' first='Kager' last='Knueppel'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2391400' first='Team' last='Herro'] 16U)

Knueppel is the younger brother of Kon who is going to be a 2025 lottery pick. A ton to like with Kager as a long and bouncy wing that can play in transition throwing down dunks, finishing out of the dunker spot, and displaying a free and easy shooting stroke from downtown. Bright future!

[player_tooltip player_id='2371700' first='Deuce' last='McDuffie'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2391400' first='Team' last='Herro'] 16U)

Yet another plus athlete on the wing! This small forward snatched rebounds, consistently played above the rim, and sprinkled in some passing instincts. Chance to be a big time two way wing.

[player_tooltip player_id='2288469' first='Jalen' last='Brown'] (Power 5 16U)

Brown was one of the more impressive 2027 guards at the event. Combo guard that was impactful as a scorer, passer, and defender. Offensively he was best attacking gaps in the defense scoring in the paint and getting to the foul line at a very high rate. Pull up three ball was definitely a threat for him. Effective drive and kick passer to shooters along with pushing it ahead in transition to finishers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140983' first='Tref' last='Rademaker'] (Power 5 16U)

Rademaker had a massive game on Sunday against Mike Glennon. Redemaker is a skilled lefty big man who has outstanding touch around the hoop. Good footwork, spin moves, and runs the floor well. The lefty can bomb in threes as a floor spacing big man knocking in pick/pop triples with ease.

[player_tooltip player_id='2127267' first='Zaihir' last='Jones'] (Power 5 16U)

Jones is a scoring guard who poured in buckets at a high clip especially shooting it from beyond the arc. Made an array of threes in the two games we saw them play. Also has a burst getting to the cup off the bounce along with getting to the line at a nice clip.

Ladell White (Power 5 16U)

White was the motor for Power 5 in their win over [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last='']. He poured in 20 points as a strong bodied bowling ball type guard who got to the rim for scoop shots, and acrobatic finishes. Won off the bounce with power and maneuvered his body inside to score. Plays so hard!

[player_tooltip player_id='2352817' first='Alex' last='Robbins'] (Wisconsin Playground 16U)

Robbins is a long and wiry power forward that played above the rim. Can put it on the deck which he did for a big two handed slam. Quickness getting on the offensive glass, got to the foul line, and was a solid three point shooter. Like the instincts defensively as well as a rim protector. Ton of upside for this rising junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='2508313' first='Evan' last='Ploeckelman'] (Wisconsin Playground 16U)

Worth keeping an eye on this athletic and skilled forward. Finishes well off the bounce for and-1s along with being a solid three point shooter with a clean stroke.
