An updated rankings for the Class of 2027 in New England means a look at the new Top 10!

There was substantial movement in this update, with a new prospect claiming the #1 spot and another prospect making his first appearance in the Top 10.

Notably, the NEPSAC is well represented in this list with eight of the ten prospects playing in that league. Additionally, two individuals in the Top 10 play for Brewster Academy, making it the only school with multiple prospects on this list.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470853' first='Kamsi' last='Awaka']: A 6'9" forward at Cheshire Academy, Awaka took his game to another level this winter, with multiple outings of 20+ points and 10+ rebounds. He has a big and strong frame, is a plus athlete, and plays hard on both ends of the floor. He continues to evolve on the offensive end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341434' first='DJ' last='Hawkins']: A 6'7" wing at St. Thomas More, Hawkins is a long and lean explosive scorer. He's a capable ball handler that can finish plays at the rim with his length, while also showing the ability to knock down shots in bunches from behind the arc. As he adds strength, his ceiling should only continue to rise.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470882' first='Theo' last='Edema']: A 7'0" big at Cushing Academy, Edema is a huge presence in the paint on both ends of the floor. While he has incredible size, he impresses with his agility and ability to run the floor. He continues to improve as a finisher and is already a high level rebounder and shot blocker in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470973' first='Greyson' last='Pierce']: A 6'7" wing at Loomis Chaffee, Pierce makes a two way impact with his versatility. He can do a variety of things on the offensive end of the floor, including handling the ball in space, scoring at multiple levels, and making good reads as a passer. Defensively, he can guard up and down a lineup.

[player_tooltip player_id='1958489' first='Clyde' last='Walters']: A 6'6" wing at Brewster Academy, Walters stands out with his ability to impact a game on the offensive end of the floor. He's a plus athlete with a good frame that knows how to get to his spots off the bounce, while also showing the ability to make contested shots in the mid-range and from behind the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470964' first='Antonio' last='Pemberton']: A 6'0" guard at Brewster Academy, Pemberton is a proven winner that knows how to run an offense. He does a good job of making decisions with the ball in his hands, makes good reads out of ball screens, and can score with touch at multiple levels.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194345' first='TJ' last='Allen']: A 6'2" guard at St. Sebastian's, Allen is an electric, multi-level scorer that thrives with the basketball in his hands. He can create for himself and others in the half court, knows how to get baskets in isolation situations, and is really good attacking the rim in transition. He will transfer to the Darrow School in the fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470840' first='Josiah' last='Adamson']: A 6'4" guard at CATS Academy, Adamson is a high motor prospect that can really finish at the rim. He does a good job as an on ball defender and capitalizes on scoring opportunities in transition. He's strong, athletic, and has the ability to finish plays through contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568339' first='Kamari' last='Whyte']: A 6'3" guard at Vermont Academy, Whyte made a name for himself in the region this winter as a big time scorer. He's a good shooter, both off the catch and with the ball in his hands, and had a number of high scoring outputs this season. He's tough, strong, and athletic when finishing plays in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2407057' first='Declan' last='Griffiths']: A 6'7" wing at Avon Old Farms, Griffiths is a crafty scorer that has serious breakdown ability in isolation situations. He's a tough shot maker that can finish over defenders with his size and while he's lean, he doesn't back down from anyone physically. Defensively, he's a good shot blocker from the help.

This will be an important spring and summer on the travel circuit for each of these ten prospects. With all having the ability to play at the highest levels of college basketball, they are certain to draw a following in the coming months.

Keep an eye out this week as we continue to expand on our updated 2025 rankings, with thoughts on newcomers, risers, and more!
