Today, we begin our positional breakdowns for the Class of 2027 with a look at the point guards.

At the top of the list is Brewster Academy's [player_tooltip player_id='2470964' first='Antonio' last='Pemberton'], who checks in at #2 in the overall rankings. Pemberton is a dynamic athlete that is at the top of the conversation for the region's most impressive scorers. He's a big-time competitor that takes pride on the defensive end of the floor and contributes heavily to winning.

Below are five more point guards to watch from the latest rankings update.

Wiggins, a guard out of the Westminster School in Connecticut, checks in at #3 among the point guards and #25 overall in this rankings update. The 6'0" guard had a breakout season this winter, earning All-NEPSAC honors after averaging 23.0 points and 6.0 assists per game. He plays with a great feel for the game on the offensive end of the floor, has good vision when creating out of ball screens, and is capable of scoring it at all three levels. Defensively, he's capable of guarding either backcourt spot and does a nice job of making plays, on and off the ball, that lead to turnovers and scoring opportunities in transition. Wiggins will play for the Middlesex Magic on the travel circuit.

Robinson, a guard out of the Frederick Gunn School in Connecticut, checks in at #13 among the point guards and #74 overall in this rankings update. The 6;0" guard is a dynamic athlete that plays well as a driver due to his incredibly strong base. He knows how to make plays for others, particularly in transition, and has done a nice job of developing his perimeter jumper over the last year. On the other end of the floor, he can really defend in space, proving to be one of the better on ball defenders and turnover generators in the region. He'll play with Team New England Basketball Club this spring and summer.

Dehaney, a guard out of Proctor Academy in New Hampshire, checks in at #15 among the point guards and #79 overall in this rankings update. A standout performer for Proctor this winter, he earned All-NEPSAC honors and proved to be a dynamic scorer. He's incredibly crafty scoring around the rim, particularly when finishing over size, and is capable of heating up in a hurry as a shooter from behind the arc. He gives good effort on the defensive end of the floor and with his quickness, is able to jump passing lanes to create turnovers. Dehaney will play with Northern Kings Basketball this summer.

Faison, a guard out of the Winchendon School in Massachusetts, checks in at #17 among the point guards and #84 overall in this rankings update. The 5'10" lead guard has shown a unique ability to run an offense, particularly in the half-court and when playing out of ball screens. He has some creativity as a passer and does a nice job of switching up his speeds off the bounce. He can get into his pull-up game in the mid-range and also shows the ability to knock down shots from behind the arc. Defensively, he can really heat up the basketball at the point of attack and creates plenty of steals and deflections with his quickness. He plays his travel basketball with The City Rocks.

Roderick, a guard out of Mt. Hope High School in Rhode Island, checks in at #35 among the point guards and #172 overall in this rankings update. He established himself as one of the top prospects in Rhode Island this winter, showing the ability to impact games on both ends of the floor. He's a disruptive defender that uses his length to his advantage, both making plays in passing lanes and when protecting the rim. Offensively, he's at his best when he gets downhill and attacks the rim, showing the ability to find teammates for easy baskets and to score at the rim with his length. He's got more upside as he continues to round out his offensive game.

Keep an eye out this week as we continue our positional breakdowns with a look at Combo Guards, Shooting Guards, and more!

Today, we begin our positional breakdowns for the Class of 2027 with a look at the point guards.
