Robinson, a guard out of the Frederick Gunn School in Connecticut, checks in at #13 among the point guards and #74 overall in this rankings update. The 6;0″ guard is a dynamic athlete that plays well as a driver due to his incredibly strong base. He knows how to make plays for others, particularly in transition, and has done a nice job of developing his perimeter jumper over the last year. On the other end of the floor, he can really defend in space, proving to be one of the better on ball defenders and turnover generators in the region. He’ll play with Team New England Basketball Club this spring and summer.

Robinson had an awesome game against top-ranked NEPSAC opponent Kingswood-Oxford last week, showcasing an impressive ability to score the ball from all three levels. The 6-foot guard has excellent quickness off the dribble and really knows how to use his off hand to burst by his defender. But against KO, he showed off some nice shooting touch from the perimeter, which I didn’t necessarily know he had. His shot has a slight hitch, but if he can knock it down consistently, it won’t matter given how well-rounded his offensive game is besides that.

Robinson is a quick guard who continues to put together a big-time season with his consistent production and impact. He does a great job getting paint touches, using his quick first step to get downhill and put pressure on the defense. Once he gets inside, he attracts multiple defenders and forces rotations, which opens things up for everyone else. Robinson makes the right reads in those moments, whether it’s a kick-out, drop-off, or hitting a cutter at the right time. He plays with good pace and knows when to push the tempo versus when to slow it down and organize the offense. His ability to control the flow of the game stands out, especially in key stretches. Robinson’s combination of speed, decision-making, and poise makes him a guard you can trust to lead a team.

Robinson is a space-eating guard who takes up room on both ends of the floor. He showed that he can play on or off the basketball. He is a sneaky athlete who can showcase his athleticism. He added double digit points. I liked the energy he brings to the game.

Robinson is a key cog for a Frederick Gunn School squad that has surprised some people this year. The 6-foot guard is a pretty special athlete and has thrown down some in-game dunks, but he also has a great head on his shoulders and can pass the ball like a true floor general. He can also make shots from three (but there’s room for improvement here). Robinson is most impressive on the defensive end, though, where he’s a total ball hawk and bulldog. He has awesome toughness, and he’s a winning player.

Robinson was one of the best players at the expo. Explosive on the court and lightning quick. Took control offensively and was a threat every possession. A great playmaker with great vision that can drive and kick, and set up his teammates with darts for easy buckets. Three level scorer, can play off or on the ball, create his own offense, and is almost impossible to stop when he is going downhill. Good shooting mechanics with a quick release that bodes well with his mid range game. Needs to get more comfortable from the perimeter. Defensively, he can be a shutdown defender. Has all the physical tools and once he enhances his technique and IQ, you won’t get much space.

Robinson wowed at the Expo as he showed his ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor. The 6’0 guard exploded off the floor for dunks and showed the ability to finish nicely around the rim. Robinson pushed the pace well in transition and rarely forced shots in the half court. He worked hard on the defensive end and showed the ability to play off the ball. Robinson is a gritty guard prospect who should continue to make plays with the ball in his hands this season.

Robinson, a lead guard out of the Frederick Gunn School, checks in at #171 overall and #26 among the point guards. Robinson has the ability to impact games in a variety of ways, showing an impressive handle, good defensive instincts, and plus floor vision. Defensively, he can sit in a stance and guard all 94′ feet, utilizing his athleticism as an on-ball defender. Offensively, he’s a capable decision maker out of ball screens, does a nice job of making plays off the bounce as a driver, and can draw doubles that lead to scoring opportunities for teammates. He’s a scoring threat in transition, as well as in catch and shoot situations.

has been a player I’ve been meaning to watch for some time. Finally given the chance, I was left in awe of his offensive potential. He dominated attacking the basket for easy paint points and used his strong body to handle contact well. His ability to keep his dribble alive and tight within traffic was superb and he looked composed with the ball in his hands. His quick decision-making led to assists within the flow of the Frederick Gunn offense and was the main reason his team was ahead for the majority of the game. He even hit an outside jump shot with sweet shooting mechanics.
