With more sophomores moving into starting roles for their teams, this update had more changes than any other. Some players performed well and still moved down simply because others emerged. Overall, this class has a ton of promise. Here's how they made out this season:

The comprehensive way that Alexander filled up that stat sheet represents the edge he brought to every facet of the game. The Vikings' best movement shooter, he was good for at least two threes per game. And when he attacked off the catch or from a stand-still, Alexander got to the cup and/or the free throw line. Defensively, his size his advantage, because he could get underneath guys and rip the ball away with his quick hands.

Diamond's team context was one that relied on him to do a lot of everything to give them a chance to win and he always stepped up to the challenge. He was controlled chaos on defense, disrupting whatever offenses tried to do, whether he was at the point of attack or in help position. And with the ball in-hand, Diamond found ways to get into the lane and hit shots in-rhythm. Now, in addition to playing football, he's applying his athletic ability as a huddler.

Ellegood played in spurts and primarily off-ball as a freshman, so he had to grow up quickly in order to make those around him better. His will to get into the paint unlocked the rim-running from Sanford's forwards and tilted the defense for their shooters. And when others couldn't make shots, Ellegood supplemented that with pull-up threes of his own. He found his groove going into the tournament and moved the needle just enough for the Warriors to win the chip.

A violent athlete on both ends, Matthews was one of the best overall performers in Henlopen, from January on. He was so disruptive on defense, pinning shots against the backboard and turning his deflections into highlight plays above the rim in transition. Already an effective cutter and lob threat, the subtle improvements in his handle allowed him leverage his athletic ability as a slasher in the halfcourt. The slashing then allowed him to play-make.

After starring at QB and moonlighting at Free Safety, Tingle laced the sneakers back up to be his team's defensive chess piece and offensive hub. Regardless of position, he matched up with the opposing team's best player, using his strength and footwork to limit their impact. The Vikings also played through Tingle when they had the ball. He distributed to the rock and brought the friction, whether he was driving or pulling up for two.
