Carey Smith | Prep Hoops Scout
In 2024-25 Warner posted 7 points per night at St. Mark’s in Delaware and scored a season high 22 points against the Charter School of Wilmington. Warner recently announced that he is transferring to Bonner & Prendergast and this weekend will be his first runs with his new squad. Thus, I will be interested to watch how this athletic and solidly built perimeter prospect fits in with the deep and talented Bonner roster. His accurate three-point shot will provide floor spacing for Bonner, while his dribble pull-up game will supply mid-range firepower. Warner’s speed and finishing skills should fit in perfectly with Bonner’s up-tempo approach.

During his sophomore campaign at St. Mark’s in Delaware, Warner posted 7 points per night and poured in a season high 22 points against Charter School of Wilmington. This athletic and solidly built perimeter prospect was the No. 11 ranked prospect in our latest Delaware state rankings. Warner owns a jump shot that is automatic from the baseline, in the mid-range and behind the arc. Plus, Warner possesses the speed and finishing skills to produce points in the open court. On defense Warner can guard 1 through 4. Next season Warner will take the court for PCL contender Bonner & Prendergast.

The lights were never too bright for Warner when he came in the game. A key rotation player for the Spartans, Warner showed a penchant for hitting big shots off-the-catch. He gave them some firepower on the perimeter by knocking down his fair share of spot-up threes and getting to his spots in the mid-range.
