Prep Hoops Indiana will have boots on the ground from Franklin Central High School as the Flashes host Westfield. However, as always, we will have eyes and ears in gyms all across the state in order to provide the very best coverage possible. Let's dive on in and highlight five of the best games happening around the state on this penultimate Friday night of the regular season.

Ben Davis vs. Cathedral (@ Broad Ripple Middle School)

It has been an up-and-down season for Ben Davis playing without their star point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1373105' first='Mark' last='Zackery']. However, the Giants have still been able to win a lot of games and sit at 15-6 coming off of a loss to Lawrence Central. Junior guard Jashawn Ladd leads Ben Davis in scoring at 13.7 points per game while 6'7" Kentucky Wesleyan signee [player_tooltip player_id='1749499' first='Tavion' last='Williams'] adds 11.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game. On Cathedral's side, the Fighting Irish have rattled off seven straight wins to improve to 16-4 on the season. Notre Dame signee [player_tooltip player_id='1525663' first='Brady' last='Koehler'] averages 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.1 steals, and 2.2 blocks per game. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561435' first='Julien' last='Smith'] adds 13.4 points per game while junior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1561135' first='Keaton' last='Aldridge Jr']. is averaging 11.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game. This will be a fun one.

Evansville Reitz @ Jeffersonville

It'll be back-to-back nights now that Jeffersonville has hosted a big game along the river. On Thursday evening, the Red Devils handed previously undefeated Brownstown Central their first loss of the season. Wright State signee [player_tooltip player_id='1297093' first='Michael' last='Cooper'] poured in 27 points in that contest while [player_tooltip player_id='1388408' first='Tre' last='Singleton'], who is signed to play at Northwestern, added 17 points. Those two will look to lead the way once again for Jeffersonville who has won nine straight games. Evansville Reitz is 14-3 on the season led by senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2466205' first='Lavell' last='Tinsley'] and superstar sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2195051' first='Jaylan' last='Mitchell']. These two programs could potential meet again in the Regional.

Kokomo @ Anderson

For fans of old school North Coast Conference basketball this is the game for you. Anderson is 19-2 on the season led by Indiana All-Star candidate [player_tooltip player_id='1297010' first='Damien' last='King'] who averages 22.0 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Fellow seniors [player_tooltip player_id='2390222' first='Javon' last='Warfield'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1539290' first='Titus' last='Hunter'] are King's primary running mates for the Indians. As for Kokomo, the Wildkats are 15-5 led by unsigned senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1381461' first='Zion' last='Bellamy'] and his 19.9 points per game. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561440' first='Korbyn' last='Hammel'] is having an excellent season as well averaging 14.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game.

Lawrence North @ Pike

This game will be absolutely loaded with talent. In the backcourt you have senior [player_tooltip player_id='1297011' first='Damon' last='Howard'] who is back from injury for the Red Devils and averages 15.0 points per game while sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2194328' first='Jahari' last='Miller'] leads the way at 17.2 points per game. Those two, along with a deep stable of other guards at Pike, will go against Butler signee [player_tooltip player_id='1296979' first='Azavier' last='Robinson'] who is putting up 19.3 points, 4.9 assists, and 2.2 steals per game. Junior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561031' first='Cameron' last='Webster'] is one to watch for the Wildcats as well. Then, in the front court, Lawrence North's twin towers of [player_tooltip player_id='1509229' first='Kai' last='McGrew'] (13.5 ppg, 8.3 rpg) and [player_tooltip player_id='1729136' first='Brennan' last='Miller'] (13.4 ppg, 8.6 rpg) will battle 6'11" sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2266896' first='Isaiah' last='Hill']. Hill has emerged as a Top 100 prospect nationally in the Class of 2027 and is averaging 10.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.6 blocks per game. [player_tooltip player_id='1296979' first='Azavier' last='Robinson'] is also looking to pass Greg Oden as Lawrence North's all-time leading scorer. Robinson needs seven points to surpass Oden's 1,773 career points.

Manchester @ Maconaquah

If you want to watch two of the top scorers in the state of Indiana go at it then this will be the game for you this evening. Manchester is riding a 17-game winning streak as they climb the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A Top 10. The Squires are 18-1 now heading into this evening's contest. They feature 6'7" senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1297028' first='Gavin' last='Betten'] who averages 25.8 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game. Senior guard Ethan Hendrix is having an excellent season as well averaging 18.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game. For Maconaquah, Bethel signee [player_tooltip player_id='1747066' first='Josiah' last='Ball'] averages 28.6 points per game. Watching these two future Crossroads League rivals trade buckets will be worth the price of admission.
