We are back to a full slate of Indiana High School Basketball games this Friday night. Prep Hoops Indiana will have boots on the ground at Plainfield High School to watch the Quakers take on Greenwood. However, we will also have eyes and ears in gyms all across the state as always in order to provide the best, most in-depth, coverage possible. Let's highlight five of the biggest games taking place on Friday evening.

Gary West Side @ Munster

It is well past time to give Gary West Side their flowers. They have won 10 straight games and 12 of their last 13. In that span they've knocked off both East Chicago Central and Gary 21st Century. [player_tooltip player_id='2053673' first='Derek' last='Collins'], [player_tooltip player_id='1560995' first='Reggie' last='Hinton'], [player_tooltip player_id='1296975' first='Anthony' last='Holmes'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1560969' first='Tyler' last='Crews'] are among the prospects to watch for the Cougars. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1560996' first='Josh' last='Malloy'] is one to watch for the 11-6 Munster Mustangs who have won six of their last seven games.

Lawrence North @ Ben Davis

Two of the best front courts in Indiana High School basketball will go at it this evening on the west side of Indianapolis. Watching Kentucky Wesleyan bound [player_tooltip player_id='1749499' first='Tavion' last='Williams'] and unsigned senior [player_tooltip player_id='2050030' first='Kaleb' last='Milan'] battle against Lawrence North's juniors [player_tooltip player_id='1729136' first='Brennan' last='Miller'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1509229' first='Kai' last='McGrew'] will be well worth the price of admission. Then, in the backcourt, the Wildcats obviously feature Butler signee [player_tooltip player_id='1296979' first='Azavier' last='Robinson'] who is among the most dynamic guards in the state.

North Central @ Pike

Sticking on the west side, this matchup will feature some high-powered offenses led by some of the best unsigned senior guards in the state. Pike guard [player_tooltip player_id='1297011' first='Damon' last='Howard'] has returned from injury to lead the Red Devils alongside sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2194328' first='Jahari' last='Miller']. Meanwhile, the Panthers of North Central feature the one-two backcourt punch of [player_tooltip player_id='1297108' first='Papi' last='Rivera'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1297098' first='Nijah' last='Jewell']. 6'11" sophomore big man [player_tooltip player_id='2266896' first='Isaiah' last='Hill'] could be the X-Factor in this one for Pike though. He has really emerged as one of the best long term prospects in the state of Indiana regardless of class.

Portage @ Chesterton

There aren't many teams in the state of Indiana that are hotter right now than the Portage Indians. Not only have they won six straight and eight of their last nine games, but they also beat Crown Point 64-40 during that span. The Indians are now 15-4 on the season led by their senior trio of [player_tooltip player_id='1297027' first='Garrett' last='Clark'] (Air Force), [player_tooltip player_id='1297094' first='Michael' last='Wellman'] (Grace), and [player_tooltip player_id='1297112' first='Samuel' last='Wellman'] (Bethel). Chesterton features high-scoring junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1989437' first='Logan' last='Pokorney'].

South Bend Washington @ Penn

Some of the best young talent in the state of Indiana will be on display in this one. Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2457404' first='Caleb' last='Coolman'] has been outstanding all season long and seems to be getting better and better. He leads the Kingsmen in points, rebounds, and assists averaging 15.8, 5.6, and 4.5 per game respectively. Sophomore forwards [player_tooltip player_id='2101318' first='Peyton' last='Miamba'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2140417' first='Makale' last='Price'] are players to watch for Penn as well. As for South Bend Washington, [player_tooltip player_id='1561449' first='Steven' last='Reynolds III'], the #1 ranked player in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings, averages 23.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game. Sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140346' first='Dakori' last='Parker'] adds 14.6 points and 4.7 assists per game. Penn is 12-7 while South Bend Washington is 14-4.
