One of the top unsigned senior big men in the state, Crews continues to flash his high upside and prove why he is wroth a flier at the next level. The 6’10” center rebounds well and is a consistent shot-blocker on the defensive end. His offensive game will continue to become more polished, but he is explosive out of the dunker’s spot, is a lob threat, and can win a foot race on the rim run. Crews finished with 6 points, 4 rebounds, and blocks.

Crews remains one of the most intriguing prospects on the board in the Class of 2026. The unsigned senior is a legit 6’9″-6’10” with impressive length and athleticism. He projects as a lob threat, rim-runner, and rim protector defensively. His improvement has remained consistent throughout his college career and is absolutely worth a scholarship for various levels. We attended a practice before the year at Gary West Side but are anxious to see him in live action.

Crews has had a good summer with Meanstreets 17u and has a chance to be one of the top breakout stars for Gary West this upcoming high school season. A guy that has good mobility and finishes around the rim, schools at all levels should be keeping tabs on Crews.

Crews is a big man that has always had a ton of upside but appears to have really put it together heading into his senior season. Not only is he a legitimate 6’10” with long arms, but he also runs the floor very well and is bouncy around the rim. He plays above the rim as a finisher and shot-blocker. There is no doubt that his best basketball is still ahead of him and that should be exciting for the college coaches that are evaluating him. Crews made a big jump from #62 to #29 in our prospect rankings. He really looks like a different player now.

Anytime you come across a 6’9″-6’10” prospect you are going to be intrigued. Big man are simply always in style in that sense. Crews has started to really show some improvements and developments of late. Naturally, this will be a big spring and summer for him starting with this first live evaluation period. Being able to see him play with and against some of the best players in the country will give Division I coaches an idea of what he is capable of at the next level. The center from Gary West Side High School is playing with Meanstreets and will be at EYBL Session II in Memphis.

You can’t teach 6’9″-6’10”. Ever since his freshman season there have been flashes from this Gary West Side High School big man that intrigued us at Prep Hoops Indiana. Still ranked as a Top 50 prospect, it will be interesting to watch him continue to develop this season.
