Turnovers played UNRNKD Hoops 17u on Friday night. However, when they were able to take care of the ball and get it inside, good things seemed to happen. That was the case for Price who finished a couple of tough right hand, left shoulder post moves and was strong on the offensive glass. We also got to see Price’s defensive activity level create some havoc as well. The 6’8″ center finished with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 steals in the game.

This 6’8″ center is set to be a real stock-riser in the Class of 2027. Price is solidifying himself as one of the top big men in northern Indiana and certainly put another feather in his cap on Wednesday night. He was active and explosive from the dunker’s spot, was strong on the glass, and showed some rim protection capabilities as well. Price finished with 16 points and 6 rebounds for Penn in their 63-43 win over Michigan City.

Physical junior post presence that seems to get better every time he steps on the floor. A bit raw offensively, he dominates the game in the defensive end as a rim protector and rebounder. Moves his feet well with the ability to switch into guards and keep them in front for short spurts. Rim running big that gets from one of the floor to the other. Good hands that has a wide catch radius and can finish through contact. Has shown flashes of a 15 foot jumper while also showing he can put it on the floor and make a move to the basket in an isolation situation.

Price has made some serious strides as a player since we last had a chance to evaluate him. The 6’8″ center is turning into a very impressive, high-upside prospect in the Class of 2027. He is strong in the post with the ability, and willingness, to play through contact. Price is more explosiveness than he has been in the past as well showcasing the ability to elevate and dunk from the dunker’s spot. He finished with 12 points and 2 blocked shots in Penn’s win over Zionsville on Saturday.

This 6’8″ junior center finished with a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds in Penn’s 67-52 win over Blackhawk Christian on Tuesday evening. It is good to see his continued development as a high-upside front court prospect in the Class of 2027.

High energy big man that keeps getting better and better every time I see him. Raw offensively, he makes up for it with his instincts and athleticism. Uses his body well on the offensive end when he posts or sets screens. High level rebounder that goes after each board with two hands. Offensively, the skill is catching up and he’s coming into his own as a player. Felt comfortable extending his range out to the three-point line as well as a showing a soft touch with his jump hook over the left shoulder.

. At 6’8, Price is a more traditional big that likes to use his power and strong frame to be physical underneath the basket and overpower his defender. For his size, he has great mobility as well being able to use good footwork around the rim on both sides. With an even more important role this season, Price is a guy to watch for Penn.

One of the prospects that I was most excited to see as far as progression was Penn 2027 center

. The 6’8 big man is stepping into a bigger role for the Kingsmen this season and based off the few games I watched from him, he looks like he can carry the front court for them. Has noticeably slimmed down and has a more athletic frame than the last time I saw him which allowed him to be extremely mobile in the paint. May not have been a better player at giving second chance points to a team than what I saw from Price.
