Marian Men’s Basketball Prospect Camp | Forwards to Watch

AAU Season has come to an end and school is about to get started back up. August and September will be filled with several college prospect camps and high school fall workouts. First up is Marian University Men's Prospect Camp taking place on campus on August 8th. This article highlights the Forwards to watch that will be in attendance:    Mobile stretch four out of Providence that has a nice inside-out offensive skill set. 6'6” [player_tooltip player_id='2831247' first='Noah' last='Leasor'] is a fluid athlete that is a really nice catch and shoot three-point shooter, excellent cutter off the ball with good hands and finishes strong around the rim. Has also shown the ability to drive closeouts and find the open man. Really good defensive anchor in the paint that rebounds and is a solid rim protector that uses his length and size to his advantage and stays out of foul trouble.     Physical post presence that controls the game in the paint on both ends of the floor. Intriguing athlete that moves extremely well. Defensively he's an anchor in the paint with his rim protection and rebounding. Has also shown switch ability on the perimeter being able to contain guards. Ever improving offensive feel with good hands and the ability to finish through contact. [player_tooltip player_id='2140417' first='Makale' last='Price'] gets better and better every time I see him and look forward to getting to see the Penn High School product on Saturday.     Pure skill from the forward spot is how I would describe [player_tooltip player_id='2140339' first='Carter' last='Crum']'s game. The undersized forward from Parke Heritage isn't the quickest or most athletic player when he steps on the floor every game, but there is a good chance he is the most fundamental and skilled. Capable inside-out player that has great footwork and utilizes shot fakes when scoring underneath. Really nice catch and shoot threat from the perimeter in pick and pop situations. Also someone you can run offense through in the middle of the floor and he can find the open man. Big time rebounder on both ends     Long and athletic forward that uses his length and size to his advantage on both ends of the floor. Excellent defender that's able to guard multiple positions. He's a fluid athlete that protects the rim and rebounds at a high level. Offensively he has an inside-out skill set thats capable of doing a lot of different things. Really good shooter off the catch with a smooth release. Has shown he can drive closeouts as well. Pick and roll threat with good hands and finishes strong around the basket. Thrives in transition as a rim runner and can finish above the rim.     Intriguing big man out of Franklin County that has shown flashes of his offensive skill. Like some of the other Forwards on this list, [player_tooltip player_id='2879844' first='Jerod' last='Rauch'] is another nice catch and shoot threat from the perimeter. Nice post up game with a soft touch over his left shoulder. Plays with a high motor and attacks the glass on both ends. Defensive anchor in the paint that protects the rim by staying vertical and being a physical presence. Good screener and off ball cutter with the ability to finish cuts at the rim through contact.
