Martinez was a stock-riser throughout the spring and summer playing with EG10 and continued his strong play on Saturday at the Marian University Elite Camp. He is a bouncy 6’6″ forward/center that can play above the rim both as a finisher and shot blocker. His ability to rebound his area and guard in the post really stand out. Look for him to put up some big time numbers as a junior at Providence Cristo Rey.

Long and athletic forward that uses his length and size to his advantage on both ends of the floor. Excellent defender that’s able to guard multiple positions. He’s a fluid athlete that protects the rim and rebounds at a high level. Offensively he has an inside-out skill set thats capable of doing a lot of different things. Really good shooter off the catch with a smooth release. Has shown he can drive closeouts as well. Pick and roll threat with good hands and finishes strong around the basket. Thrives in transition as a rim runner and can finish above the rim.

While he is a little under-the-radar right now, a player that I think has some breakout potential in the Indiana class of 2028 is Aiden Martinez Aiden Martinez 6'6" | PF/SF Providence Cristo Rey | 2028 IN of Providence Cristo Rey HS. Martinez is one of the top frontcourt pieces for the loaded EG10 16U and stands out with his length at 6’6 and he smooth versatility. He plays so well off the bounce and pairs it well having a smooth jumper 15ft and out. Very fluid overall and competes on the glass, as well.

Athletic forward that can get off the floor in a hurry. Long and lanky frame made him a disruptive on the defensive end, especially as a shot blocker. He was aggressive protecting the paint and would go up for rebounds with two hands. Showed the ability to rip and run off the defensive glass m. Offensively he was an impressive finisher around the basket. Had a nice drop step and dunk in the 3v3 portion of the camp.
