The 2024-2025 season is here! We're going to look at 5 teams from the east side of the state that may have Breslin Center goals and we'll give a player to watch from each team!

ANN ARBOR HURON

Huron looks to return to the Breslin Center this season and the talent on the roster indicates that they can. They have some impressive perimeter talent, starting with Iowa State commit [player_tooltip player_id='1437579' first='Macari' last='Moore']. There aren't many lead guards in the state that can match up. The have a pure shooter in [player_tooltip player_id='1616012' first='Jaydon' last='Keefer'] to pair with him, as well as one of more improved players in the state in guard [player_tooltip player_id='2218160' first='Kaleb' last='Brown'].

Player To Watch - [player_tooltip player_id='1386628' first='Dominic' last='Krzesowiak']

Don't look now, but Huron will be adding an elite SG to a loaded backcourt. He has nice positional size and strength and is a tremendous shooter that's willing to work hard off the ball.

ANN ARBOR SKYLINE

Skyline has the chance to be one of the most improved teams in the state. They look like not just a team on the rise, but a program on the rise. [player_tooltip player_id='2735030' first='Jake' last='Rademacher'] has deservedly drawn the eye of college coaches. [player_tooltip player_id='2353091' first='Noah' last='Silkworth'] is a versatile forward that plays bigger than his height with the use of his strong frame and mobility. Fellow forward [player_tooltip player_id='2735027' first='Braylan' last='Brown'] caught my eye with his vertical game last season.

Player To Watch - [player_tooltip player_id='2735012' first='Ben' last='Solomon']

We owe Ben and AA Skyline an apology. This young man deserves a number next to his name. And a pretty high one. Solomon has next level guard skills and can carry this team deep in the playoffs.

DETROIT CASS TECH

Cass Tech is a team to watch out for this year. They have experience, athleticism and play good team basketball on both ends of the floor. [player_tooltip player_id='2276974' first='Stevie' last='Hall'] is probably one of the most underrated players in the state and is a force on both ends of the floor. [player_tooltip player_id='1439363' first='Lee' last='Harris'] brings a ton of versatility to the lineup. Cass Tech has some really nice young talent ready to step up.

Player To Watch - Donavin Eddins

Eddins has had an impressive fall. If he keeps playing that way, he could have a big influence on Cass Tech's success. Eddins has been an athletic scorer that can create, finish and attack the basket.

ORCHARD LAKE ST. MARY'S

I mean really, where do you start? They have a roster loaded with next level talent. Let's start with [player_tooltip player_id='1437536' first='Trey' last='McKenney']. He just committed to Michigan and is a top 15 talent in the country. [player_tooltip player_id='1437540' first='Sharod' last='Barnes'] might be the best perimeter defender in the state. Meanwhile [player_tooltip player_id='2276654' first='Quincy' last='Wright'] is one of the most physically gifted prospects in Michigan.

Player To Watch - [player_tooltip player_id='2373451' first='Peyton' last='Kemp']

The McKenney - Kemp combo has sort of a passing the torch type feel. Kemp is a D1 talent that has the opportunity to learn from one of the best. Kemp is a team first guard that's a magician with the ball in his hands.

WAYNE MEMORIAL

Wayne Memorial has one of the most talented backcourts in the state. [player_tooltip player_id='1793921' first='Jaylohn' last='Allen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1793650' first='Carlos' last='Medlock Jr']. are elite talents. They both can create off the bounce and play at a next level speed. They also added [player_tooltip player_id='2610325' first='Jeremiah' last='Smith'], who has proved to be an elite guard in his own right. I really like what senior forward Josh Dennis brings to the table as a gritty forward.

Player To Watch - Talan Clark

This is a name to remember. Clark will be a key player on one of the best teams in the state for a reason. He has a solid frame and the strength to go with it. Clark can get up and down the floor with the guards as well.
