Not often you have a player with seven Division I offers and still under the radar, but on a loaded

is a bit underrated, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference to him. He goes out each and every game and makes winning plays just as he did on Friday Night at Run N’ Slam. The 6’2” guard was brilliant all game long getting to the basket and setting up teammates for scores. He’s high IQ that plays extremely hard on both ends of the floor. He’s a big reason why
Indy Heat
is one of the top teams in the country.

The definition of a gamer, Kemp struggled for long stretches of the game on Sunday but with his team down five points in overtime, Kemp hit a cold-blooded 3-pointer and then had the game-winning assist with a cross-court skip that allowed his teammate to take a wide-open set shot for the win. Impressive resiliency from Kemp to show up in the brightest moments and shine.

Kemp has made the transfer to Ferndale and forms one of the top duos in Michigan alongside Eden Vineyard. Kemp was getting busy in a high scoring game Vs Cincinnati Winton Woods as he was creating offense for himself efficiently. I’ve always wanted to see Kemp fire away from 3-point range with a little more frequency and he hit a pair of triples off the dribble when the screener’s defender didn’t come up quick enough. When Kemp gets to the 5-15 foot range he is very tough to stop. I’ve been impressed with how Kemp impacts winning at both the high school and grassroots level and earned an offer from Xavier in the process.

Kemp was terrific this spring with the Indy Heat. He had a pop in his step and seemed to find that attacking groove that makes him so fun to watch. Kemp showed that shake with the ball in his hands that helps him get defenders off balance and aids in his attack.

Kemp is an elite guard that has been very impressive. He’s currently playing with the Indy Heat. Kemp has impressed me with his ability to attack off the bounce and create using both hands. He’s really done a nice job using a spin move to work off contact and get to the rim in traffic. Kemp has shown off his ability to pull up and shoot off the bounce from the mid range.

Indy Heat 16 U went 4-0 this weekend and have been on a roll Vs EYBL squads with three wins at the Bill Hensley Run N Slam. Kemp was efficient against Bates Fundamentals on Sunday as he did a nice job playing on balance. Kemp pivots and uses jump stops in transition to stay square to the basket and also had a tough lefty finish after a steal. I also love the emotion Kemp plays with, you can tell he really wants to compete and win.

such a great player and prospect. It’s a great example of the unselfish passer and creator that he is when the ball is in his hands. Kemp is willing to draw the defense and feed his teammates in scoring positions.

Kemp is a premier guard prospect in Michigan. I really like what he brings to the game from ear to ear. It was rare to see him over force the issue on Saturday and he didn’t try to create plays that weren’t there. Kemp showed his court vision and passing ability when he looked up the floor and connected with a teammate, which created a transition opportunity. He worked and had consistent movement when playing off the ball.

Kemp showcased his ability to convert on shots from an array of spots on the floor. He has a good floor game and can get into his bag quickly. He is assertive getting paint touches and excels turning the corner. He plays with a great composure and doesn’t seemed to be fazed by the moment.

The McKenney – Kemp combo has sort of a passing the torch type feel. Kemp is a D1 talent that has the opportunity to learn from one of the best. Kemp is a team first guard that’s a magician with the ball in his hands.
