Hunter is a fast rising prospect that scouts and coaches would love to see at The Expo! He really blew up this summer with the Playmakers. Hunter showed the ability to physically dominate the paint. He was one of the better rebounders that I saw all summer. Defensively, Hunter was always a factor around the rim.

Hunter has the next level size and frame and that was crystal clear. He was flat out impossible to keep off the glass at The Final Chapter. Hunter limited possessions with his defensive rebounding. He challenged the offense at the rim, seeked out blocks, and threw shots out and altered even more.

I like the throwback big that Hunter is. He is 6’8 and an extremely strong and physical player. He moves well, beats you to the block, and posts up well. He is great in the dunker position and finishing strong and towards the rim. He is a monster on the glass because of his relentless effort. He is a tough player to box out because of his build, but he also tries to grab every rebound.

Hunter and his game are coming together very nicely. He’s an elite defender that takes up space and can play vertical defense. Hunter is just a big time asset on the defensive end. He can be looked at to dominate the glass and limit posessions.

Hunter has caught a lot of eyes and it’s easy to understand why. He simply has that next level frame and he’s quickly learning how to use it. Hunter is a big time asset on the defensive end, but his offensive game is gaining traction very quickly.

Hunter is a VERY intriguing prospect that could pay huge dividends at the next level. His frame isn’t an every day occurrence and as he adds muscle, his game can and should continue to take off. Right now, Hunter seems to be on a very solid growth of game trajectory.

The number next to his name doesn’t do justice to his game. Hunter has as much upside as almost any post player in the class of 2027. Hunter can power his way into position under the rim and can really play effectively with his back to the basket. Obviously, with his size and strength, his rebounding will be clear and critical this winter.
