The most high profile transfer of the summer, Melo departed Frederick Douglass to finish his career at Woodford County. The WKU signee should make a major impact in the 8th region and his presence likely makes Woodford the early favorites to win the region.

Rondon is the biggest beneficiary of [player_tooltip player_id='1359137' first='Taylen' last='Kinney']'s transfer to OTE from Newport. More of a pure point guard than Kinney was, expect Yamil to operate with the ball in his hands most of the time for the Wildcats. Don't underestimate his impact and ability to replicate the stats that Kinney put up last season.

One of the better "sleepers" in the Senior class, Hurt is an athletic wing player who continues to improve. Bowling Green will need him to be really good right away or risk Warren Central running away with the 4th region for another season. Joe is more than capable of being the regional Player of the Year.

Cayden is one of the best floor generals in the class and should be ready to make a statement in his Senior season after his Junior year ended early at Mason County. Reed is a player that other players like to play with and he'll be responsible for distributing the ball across a talented MoCo roster.

Plenty of jokes have been made about Douglass and Woodford making a trade with Jenkins and Boone but there is an argument to be made the Jaunte may be the better fit for both parties. Departing a roster loaded with guards and enrolling at Douglass, Jenkins and Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1543594' first='DeMarcus' last='Surratt'] make a tough backcourt that should log the vast majority of the minutes for the Broncos and will allow Jenkins to show more of his offensive game than he has been able to, so far.
