This was the second time in the past few weeks I have seen Preston play and he has jumped up on my radar quickly. He is tough as nails, is the heart beat for LCA and really never backs down from any competition. He went 10/10 vs a scrappy Frederick Douglas team and the shots he made weren’t easy. He at times got sped up which had some bad turnovers but for how the game was played and how much he had the ball in his hands there wasn’t much to complain about. Really solid player.

Preston split time with Brayden Mirus Brayden Mirus 6'1" | PG Rowan County | 2024 State KY in recent years but with Mirus now in Rowan County, expect Hagan to play more on the ball and as a facilitator. A tough guard who gets to his spots and has good elevation on his jumper, Hagan could surprise a lot of folks this season.

Preston was a last minute sign up for camp and arrived at the last minute but hit the ground running from there. Preston played well both off the ball and with the ball in his hands and was an efficient scorer all day long for what may have been the best team at the camp.

The 6-2 point guard is a poised guard who can control his team with precision passing and impact the game in a variety of ways. Preston will rarely force a tough shot or make a bad pass on the offensive end. On the defensive end he is at his best when guarding away from the primary ball handler, as he can jump into the passing lanes and force deflections or steals. He is a solid driver to the basket and finishes efficiently around the rim.
