A highly effective post scorer who knows how to throw his weight around, Trevor would have D1 schools lining up if he were 3 inches taller. As it stands, Ellis will be a steal at the D2 or NAIA level. He reminds me of former D2 All American Reid Jolly with his ability to play inside and out and be effective.

is the real deal. He dominated every aspect of the game. He controlled the paint with his size as he made it almost impossible for West Jessamine to score at the rim. If he caught the ball with deep post position it was an automatic basket. What makes him different from every other big man is his unique ability to to be just as effective on the perimeter as he is on the block. He has big time athleticism and gets great elevation on his jumper. Has deep 3pt range and also can put the ball on the floor and drive. As you can tell, I am a huge fan of Ellis’s game and needs to be on college coaches radars asap.

Another prospect who is transitioning out to the wing, Ellis is one of the more valuable players in the 12th region as he does a whole lot for Mercer County on a nightly basis. Shooting an absurd 68% from the field while averaging a double-double, Trevor has one of the best motors in the class.

One of the bigger movers in this update, Ellis climbs from 47th to 30th. Positionally, Trevor is a “tweener” who can play undersized post or big wing and be effective at either. He plays super hard and that may be his best attribute as a prospect. You can’t teach motor!

in the post. Trevor is a bruising post player and above average rebounder with a good motor. As his game keeps developing, Ellis can work his way on to college radars.

Ellis is a bit more old school than the rest of the group because his offense is primarily around the basket. Trevor is a dunking machine and is always looking to finish around the rim. Also a solid rebounder, Ellis will get colleges flocking to Harrodsburg if he were to grow a couple more inches.
