Mirus burst onto the scene this weekend averaging 14.2 points per game while also dishing out several assists and helping rebound from the guard spot. Kentucky Future Elite 2024 was consistently one of the best teams on the Prep Hoops Circuit this spring and summer and it was their balanced attack that made them so difficult to beat. This 6’1″ point guard will make a small college coach very happy in the future. He was a big part of leading his team to the 17u championship game before falling in a close one to Kyle Guy Elite Black.

We’ve covered this Kentucky Future Elite team quite a bit this spring and summer as they were consistently one of the best teams on the Prep Hoops Circuit. They proved that over the weekend at the Grit Region Finals too advancing to the championship game before falling to Kyle Guy Elite Black. However, this 6’1″ guard isn’t the player that caught the most headlines throughout the summer. Mirus showed off his talent this past weekend scoring it off of the dribble consistently and showing good ball handling ability. He can play both on or off of the ball and make plays from either position. One of the leading scorers for the team on their way to the finals.

Brayden plays in a loaded backcourt at LCA but has had ample opportunity to play with the ball in his hands this Spring with Kentucky Future Elite. As a prospect, Mirus takes multiple viewings to appreciate all the things he does to impact winning. Long term, Brayden projects as a point guard and should have opportunities to play at the next level.

The 6-0 point guard plays with a high motor and is a true three level scorer. Mirus can get it done on both ends of the floor as he has quick feet and can jump into the passing lanes. On the offensive end he can finish efficiently around the rim and finish with either hand.

Mirus is a high motor guard that showed good vision. Threat in transition with good speed. Active defensively getting in passing lanes. Did most of his damage offensively getting to the rim.
