Central Dauphin vs. Audenried

The up tempo-pace of this contest will make college coaches feel like they are watching a track meet. Pushing the rock for Central Dauphin will be point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1454341' first='Cash' last='Ritter']. Running with him will be elite shooting guard Wayne Fletcher III (handful of DI offers) and small forward [player_tooltip player_id='1454311' first='Jelani' last='Easter']. Keep an eye of combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='2421234' first='Shakur' last='Starling'] too. He is coming off a tremendous spring circuit that established his name on the recruiting map. Audenried will counter with a group of fast and athletic perimeter prospects in point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1874208' first='Israel' last='Cole'], wing scoring machine [player_tooltip player_id='1867328' first='Isaac' last='Cole'] and slasher two-guard [player_tooltip player_id='1867327' first='Quadeair' last='Smith']. Last weekend [player_tooltip player_id='1867328' first='Isaac' last='Cole'] posted outstanding runs at the Post & Pivot Pre-Live event. Tipoff is at 1:10PM at PYB.

Abington vs. Penncrest

Abington lost a host of talented players to graduation, but they will reload quickly behind point-forward [player_tooltip player_id='1460803' first='Paul' last='Glants'] and point guard prospect [player_tooltip player_id='2427245' first='Xander' last='Grasty']. Glants is a unique prospect who is built like a forward, but possesses the skill set of a crafty combo-guard. Three-point sniper [player_tooltip player_id='2478657' first='Jake' last='Manigault'] will provide points from behind the arc for Abington. On the other hand, Penncrest returns most of their starting lineup from 2023-24 and has hopes for a Central League title this winter. Option No. 1 for Penncrest is small forward [player_tooltip player_id='2251715' first='Mike' last='Mita']. He owns a polished mid-range game and can knock down the occasional triple. Floor general Will Stanton does a fantastic job of delivering timely passes to the hot hand. Spacing the floor for Penncrest is ace perimeter shooter Theo Gladue. Tipoff is at 2:20PM at PYB.

Pocono Mt. West vs. West Philly

PMW is the reigning District 11-5A champions, but their first-round exit from the PIAA state tournament ended their 2023-24 season in disappointing fashion. Their revenge tour begins tomorrow with electric point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1608319' first='KJ' last='Coles'] and dynamic small forward [player_tooltip player_id='1865344' first='Adrian' last='Brito'] leading the way. Each of them has already pulled in DI college offers. PMW will look to shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2400183' first='Brady' last='Behr'] to make significant contributions too. The Speedboys' roster contains a talented group of returning prospects including lefty point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1890563' first='Makel' last='Butts'] and combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='1406769' first='Jayden' last='McKie']. This spring on the EYBL circuit, Butts posted a several monster performances. Tipoff is at 3:30PM at Jefferson University.

Bonner-Prendergast vs. Executive Education ACS

Bonner's decorated Class of 2024 has moved on, so now a host of “new” prospects will lead the Friars program. That group includes a bevy of talented guards in [player_tooltip player_id='2398422' first='Korey' last='Francis'], [player_tooltip player_id='2419608' first='Kam' last='Jackson'], [player_tooltip player_id='2427230' first='Kenjai' last='Gatling'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2426173' first='Kaleem' last='Hargrove']. Last season, Francis (offer from UAlbany) and Jackson each started several games, while Gatling saw quality minutes as well. So those three should hit ground running on Friday. Executive Education will look to their standout backcourt of [player_tooltip player_id='1764304' first='Gabe' last='Hornberger'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2047680' first='Jaden' last='Shipley'] to carry the scoring load this weekend. Hornberger caught the attention of college coaches with his three-level scoring during the May live period. Shipley is a long and athletic prospect who can play 1 through 3. Tipoff is at 5:50PM at Jefferson University.
