Expert Analysis
Ari Rosenfeld | Prep Hoops Scout
It came in losing fashion, but the best individual performance of the game likely came from Cole, playing against his former team having transferred over from West Catholic. A natural wing, Cole slid over onto the ball with the Rockets’ regular PG ineligible to play due to transfer rules. He struggled with his scoring efficiency for much of the game but showed impressive feel and skill while initiating offense at his size, routinely kickstarting the offense with drive-and-kicks. He also intrigues with his ability to defend smaller guards at his size. Cole would show his scoring ability later on with some pullups and athletic finishes. He’s a D1 talent when things are clicking for him who’s flying under the radar at the scholarship level.

Cole is an athletic and versatile prospect who can run at several positions. His quickness, instincts and solid ball handling skills enable Cole to push the rock in transition for scores or assists. Cole can also fill a lane on the fast break and finish above the rim. In the half-court Cole can splash threes and slash to the hoop for a catch and lay-in. On defense, Cole’s height and enormous wingspan allows him to disrupt passing lanes and block shots. Earlier in December Cole recorded 14 points and 6 rebounds against Abington Friends.
