This East Stroudsburg commit was recently named as the Pocono Record All-Area POY. Thus, it should not come as a surprise that in the District 11-5A quarterfinals Brito posted a monster double double of 37 points and 10 rebounds. Brito’s stretch-4 prospect skill set was on full display in this game. Brito (22.4 ppg.) dominated on the interior via quick post up and the offensive glass. He also scored off dribble drives from the elbows. Additionally, Brito’s shooting stroke was clicking as he popped 1 three and went 14 for 17 from free throw line.

In the off-season Brito expanded the range on his jump shot and that addition is paying big dividends in his senior year. This season Brito (East Stroudsburg commit) is operating more like a stretch-4 as he frequently drags his defender out to the arc. On Tuesday he popped 3 triples on his way to 21 points as PMW defeated PM East. Brito also scored repeatedly on post ups and dives to the cup. He pulled in 12 rebounds during that contest too.

In 2023-24 this East Stroudsburg (D2) commit averaged 17.3 points and 8 rebounds per night and was named a 1st Team All-EPC selection. But after what we saw from Brito this summer, we are expecting an even more impressive senior campaign. In June Brito was named as a top performer at Philly HS Live. Then in August he was a standout at the A-Town Showdown. This stretch-4 prospect displayed improved 3-point shooting (20 3PM in 2023-24) as well as smoother footwork and a more muscular frame. Brito mixed it up on the interior too. He scored on post ups and by the working the offensive boards. Over the summer Brito also exhibited a significantly more aggressive style on offense.
