It was an excellent day of basketball that included competitive matchups, high-level individual performances, and several small college coaches evaluating the talent. As always, our Prep Hoops staff had boots on the ground providing unmatched wall-to-wall coverage. Let’s empty out the notebook from Saturday’s action.
606 Elite Mounts Comeback Against EG10
The 8:00 a.m. crew was alive and well on Saturday morning starting the day at the Pacers Athletic Center with a bang. This matchup between 606 Elite 2027 and EG10 2027 was the perfect way to start a long day of hoops. For much of the contest it seemed like EG10 would come out with the victory. Levi Lindeman Levi Lindeman 6'2" | SG Bloomington North | 2027 IN (Bloomington H.S. North 2027) came out of the gate strong finishing around the rim at a high percentage. He did a great of when catching the ball inside of not bringing it down, or dribbling at all, before finishing. Then, it turned into the Bless’ed Thomas (Pike H.S. 2027) show. The talented lead guard would go on to finish with an unofficial 36 points in what was one of the more impressive individuals performances of the day.
Down the stretch though 606 Elite simply would not go away. Brody Little (Pikeville H.S. 2027) and Cole Slone (Pikeville H.S. 2027) continued to make shots to stay within straight distance. Then, they pulled ahead at the end and escaped with a 77-75 comeback win. Little scored 22 points while Slone chipped in 18 points for 606 Elite.
Indiana Prospects Shine Throughout the Day
There was no shortage of individual performances worth of recognition throughout Saturday’s action. However, the local prospects really stood out from beginning to end. Let’s run through some of the names that shined the brightest.
All in Sports Academy 2026 is a team to remember this spring and summer featuring a lot of intriguing talent. On Saturday it was this 6’1″ guard from George Washington High School that really stood out. Franklin is very strong off of the dribble, plays through contact well, and can finish with either hand consistently inside. He had an excellent day at The Stage.
Gray scored 19 points in an impressive 70-65 win for INB Elite 2026 over Hopson Elite 2026. The thin guard from University High School has great playmaking ability off of the bounce and showed the ability to get hot in a hurry from beyond the arc. One to follow.
Highlights
Now that he is healthy and getting back on the floor, McIntire has wasted no time making his name known. The 6’1″ guard from Greenwood Christian led the way in a dominant victory for Indy Heat -Competitive Greatness on Saturday afternoon scoring 22 points while knocking in four three-point shots.
Dayton Stephans
Dayton Stephans
One of the biggest stock-risers of the day that is poised for a breakout spring and summer, this super long, athletic, 6’4″ wing displayed his two-way ability for EG10 2026. Stephans was scoring it from the mid-range, slashing to the basket as a cutter, and beating people off of the dribble to his right hand. Defensively, he was impactful on the perimeter with his length. Definitely a name to remember.
A prospect we have always been high on here at Prep Hoops Indiana, Summit showcased why on Saturday afternoon leading five Indiana Ambition 2025 scorers in double-figures with 13 points. However, Summit is even more impressive defensively than he is offensively. Love the versatility of the 6’3″ two-way wing.
Another Strong Day for Kyle Guy Elite -Williams
Among the small college coaches in attendance there might not have been a more popular name than Tyler Davis Tyler Davis 6'5" | PF Mount Vernon Fortville | 2025 State IN (Mt. Vernon Fortville H.S. 2025). The active 6’6″ forward is very bouncy around the rim and uses that vertically on both ends. He is a very good area rebounder, shows the ability to protect the rim defensively, and finishes at a high percentage on the offensive end. Davis projects as a rim-running big man that can also score on the roll. Along with his upside continuing to shine, Landon Gilliatt Landon Gilliatt 6'0" | PG Plainfield | 2026 State IN (Plainfield H.S. 2026) was very good once again while playing up a year. His decision-making is excellent with the ball in his hands and he plays the role of a true point guard very well. Tight handle, good open floor quickness, and some outside shooting ability.
In the nightcap for KGE-Williams, Keagan Harrison Keagan Harrison 6'2" | SG New Palestine | 2025 IN (New Palestine H.S. 2025) and Chris Arvanitis Chris Arvanitis 6'3" | SF Plainfield | 2025 IN (Plainfield H.S. 2025) led the way with 17 points and 16 points respectively. Both were excellent around the basket using their combination of cutting ability, size, and strength to finish inside.
Wisconsin Crusaders, Full Package Black, LA Broncos Feature Serious Talent
Arguably the most impressive point guard prospect in the gym on Saturday was Drew Daoust (Southern Door H.S. 2025) for the Wisconsin Crusaders 2025. The 6’1″ playmaker is an excellent shooter, features the athleticism and strength to consistently play through contact, and showed off great passing ability. He finished with 22 points in their 77-76 win over Hopson Elite to finish off the night. Meanwhile, Keegan Van Kauwenberg (Kaukauna H.S. 2025) displayed his excellent catch-and-shoot ability knocking in four three-point shots on his way to 20 points for the Crusaders. Both Daoust and Van Kauwenberg can really shoot the basketball.
Full Package Black ended up getting beat by Indiana Ambition 66-65, but their team is full of talented prospects. Braylon Gray Braylon Gray 6'1" | PG Grant Community | 2025 IL (Grant Community H.S. 2025) was the standout in their evening contest scoring 17 points, but Samuel Hirsch Samuel Hirsch 6'3" | SG Fremd | 2025 State IL (Fremd H.S. 2025) was a consistent shooting threat throughout the day. He and Vincas Buzelis Vincas Buzelis 6'5" | SF Hinsdale Central | 2025 State IL (Hinsdale Central H.S. 2025) are excellent prospects.
Finally, for the LA Broncos, unsigned senior Kheiri Haynes (Zachary H.S. 2024) played very well on Saturday. The 5’9″ guard is very quick and shifty with the ball in his hands. Definitely a playmaker to keep an eye on this spring out of Louisiana.
EG10 2025 Deserves Plenty of Love
There might not have been a more impressive two at the Pacers Athletic Center on Saturday than EG10 2025. They knocked off a very good Wisconsin Crusaders team in the afternoon and then finished the night off with a blowout of the LA Broncos. In their first contest of the day, EG10 put five scorers in double-figures led by Patric Matson Patric Matson 6'4" | PG Bedford North Lawrence | 2025 State IN (Bedford North Lawrence H.S. 2025) and Jack Turner Jack Turner 6'4" | SF Southport | 2025 State IN (Southport H.S. 2025) with 15 points a piece. James Kalala James Kalala 6'7" | C Southport | 2026 State IN (Southport H.S. 2026) added 14 points while Hudson Horvath Hudson Horvath 6'1" | PG Park Tudor | 2025 State IN (Park Tudor 2025) and Tavion Williams Tavion Williams 6'7" | PF Ben Davis | 2025 State IN (Ben Davis H.S. 2025) each chipped in 10 points.
In their late night matchup with the LA Broncos, Horvath led the way with 17 points. His playmaking ability was on display throughout the day with several assists and overall creation for his teammates. He is really expanding his game from scoring lead guard to all-around playmaker.
