It didn’t take long fro Franklin to prove himself as the best player on the floor. The Top 40 prospect in Indiana’s senior class was stronger and more athletic than anyone else in the backcourt on Wednesday night. A steal and dunk at the end of the first quarter gave George Washington a nine-point lead, but they would end up falling 58-53. Franklin was excellent though finishing with a game-high 29 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals.

, who I once again got a chance to watch the other day down playing in the 3SSB circuit for Team Indiana. His motor and ability to keep plays alive is what instantly stands out to me with him being a guard that is willing to give that extra effort on the glass and defensively. He is explosive in the lane and loves to push the pace whenever he can.

Ranked as a Top 50 prospect in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings, Franklin isn’t underrated to us. However, he still likely doesn’t get the recognition he deserves on a statewide basis despite being one of the top scorers in the state as a junior. Franklin proved his ability to put the ball in the basket on Saturday once again pouring in 41 points against Evansville Bosse. The 6’1″ physical guard is as talented of a pure scorer as you’ll find in the rising senior class.
