Expert Analysis

Watching Blake’s film, it seems that the game of basketball comes easy to him. A rangy 6’2” shooting guard that impacts the game in both ends of the floor. As a defender, he’s aggressive on the ball looking to use his wingspan to poke the ball away. He’s aggressive in passing lanes looking to find easy buckets in transition. Moves his feet well and sits down and guards without fouling. Offensively he’s a natural bucket getter that is smooth as silk. Patient with the ball in his hands, he takes what the defense gives him. Comfortable on or off the ball, he’s dynamic with his scoring ability and I came to find that his playmaking ability for others is underrated. High level three-point shooter with a smooth, quick release that showed once he gets hot, he can bury teams in a hurry. Also effective in ball screens. He’s a high IQ player that understands his angles. Showed a soft touch when getting in the lane with a floater and finishes around the basket with both hands.

Smooth, confident guard that knows how to put the ball in the basket. Was able to showcase his full offensive repertoire with multiple threes made, to getting in the lane and finishing with soft touch, as well as being a passing threat in the Pick and Roll game. Really competed on the defensive end. Active hands in passing lanes led to a lot of tipped passes leading to transition opportunities.

A player that started off extremely hot and didn’t seem to cool down at all was University senior shooting guard

. The 6’2 wing set the tone early for INB 2026 with a score in transition, a dribble pull-up midrange jumper, and tough side-step three from the corner. Gray is a very smooth guard that has such a good feel for the game in many ways. Also hit a clutch shot to send the game to OT in which INB won.

was one of the more underrated guards in the state and that still holds true heading into this weekend. He will be running with INB 17u like has been for the past few years now and you will likely get a chance to see his elite shocking ability on full display. At 6’2 e is a lanky wing that creates well both on and off the ball with athleticism that pairs well with his skill. Expect him to show out at the National Open Championship.
