The South Dakota commit turned it up a notch in the fourth quarter as he was not going to let his team lose his senior year on their home floor scoring half of his points in the final period. He went back and forth with Gonzales in great battle. Buzelis is a strong and physical wing that loves pull up jumpers from two and three. Does a great job of rising up while giving himself plenty of room to get it off. Explosive athlete that won off the dribble on spin moves, in transition, and mixed in some soft touch finishes. His passing was on point as well when the defense collapsed on him he would find a teammate for an easier look. Went for 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 dimes.

Buzelis is one of the most athletic prospects in this class. Many already know about his ability to attack the rim inside and finish with authority. But I saw excellent playmaking abilities from Buzelis when I watched him at the Grit Region Finals. Also saw him step up as a defender. High potential that Mid-majors should definitely take a look at.

One of the leaders throughout the weekend for Full Package Black, Buzelis was at his best on Championship Sunday leading his team to the title. He averaged 12.7 points per game in wins over EG10 , KY Rise, and Hoops 4 Health Thompson. At 6’5″, Buzelis has great size on the perimeter that he pairs with a highly versatile skill set. Whether he is scoring from beyond the arc, off of the dribble in the mid-range, or getting all of the way to the rim, Buzelis knows how to put the ball in the basket and impact winning.
