may have been my favorite player that I watched on Saturday. If you want to talk about a production and high motor big, that is exactly what Davis showed vs Brownsburg. He took advantage of Brownsburg’s lack of size and was scoring and rebounding at will.

- My Quick Thoughts: Davis is one of the best “under-the-radar” bigs we have in the in-state class of 2025. Has has incredible length at 6’6 painting it well with his raw skill as a rim scorer, rebounder, and rim protector. Lot of potential to be a standout at a small school somewhere.

One of the more intriguing post players on the Prep Hoops Circuit this spring, Davis has really started to capture the attention of some midwestern small college coaches this spring. Playing with the Kyle Guy Elite Black, the 6’6″ forward/center has proven himself as a two-way threat around the basket. Davis plays with an excellent motor which establishes his floor, but then his ceiling becomes evident with his bounciness, good hands, and ability to play above the rim at both ends. The Mt. Vernon (Fortville) High School product is still flying a bit under-the-radar, but is poised to breakout in June and July. College coaches should get on him now.

Davis was among the biggest stock-risers at the event and was a hot topic among the small college programs in attendance. The 6’6″-6’7″ forward is incredibly active and bouncy around the basket showcasing the ability to rebound everything in his area, finish consistently at the rim, and be disruptive defensively inside. His motor and interior presence is really impressive. Davis had a great weekend for Kyle Guy Elite -Williams 2025 that went 5-0.

We’ve always been pretty high on Davis here at Prep Ho OPS Indiana, but he is looking like a stock-riser once against this spring. That was certainly true on Friday night as he led a balanced scoring attack of five guys in double-figures with 12 points in Kyle Guy Elite -Williams’ victory. The 6’6″ forward is so bouncy and active around the basket.

Davis was one of the bigs I saw that has such raw potential. He is nice around the rim on both ends of the floor that can score and protect it. High motor but just a little raw right now.

A big-time athlete, Davis has pogo sticks for legs with his ability to spring up into the air for rebounds and putbacks. Able to finish through contact with his burst to shoot over defenders who can’t get as high in the air, Davis was typically finishing at the rim. Really working hard before catching the ball to get position, Davis got himself a couple easy buckets by his motor before even getting the pass from a guard. For Davis, if he can consistently bring that level of effort and finishing ability at the rim he has the potential to receive scholarship interest next spring and summer.
