from Mount Vernon-Fortville playing for Mac Elite. This kid is an absolute stud. From the opening tip he puts his imprint on the game and impacts on both ends of the floor. High motor guard that is always in attack mode. He’s a quick, physical guard that plays through contact as well as any player I saw this weekend. He’s under control when he gets in the lane and showed really nice footwork when going to his counter move. He’s a game changer on the defensive end with his ability to guard multiple positions and his ability to rebound his position at a high level.

Battles is ultra athletic and plays above the rim impressively. Keagan is an all-around baller who scores and defends at a high level. He will make noise this weekend as an elite scorer

Admittedly, we haven’t seen much of Battles at all yet. However, we know that he will push for varsity minutes as a freshman at Mt. Vernon (Fortville) High School and has proven himself on regional/national stages as one of the top prospects in Indiana’s Class of 2029. Battles has good positional size and athleticism in the backcourt and projects as a big time two-way perimeter prospect. He will undoubtedly be one of the top prospects in this freshman class.
