Walker Russell
Walker Russell
Russell is a young guard for Magoffin County that has been a solid piece for them all season long. He is a versatile guard with great athleticism that is a great complimentary piece for Barnett. He is willing to fill any role they ask of him, especially defensively. Russell is at his best attacking the basket, getting to the paint and finishing or drawing fouls. Will the the leader of this team next year.
Holman is a young star in the making that will be ready to take the reigns after a loaded junior class at Great Crossing graduates. Has great quickness and athleticism that allows him to put pressure on defenses and finish at the rim. An extremely crafty finisher that at this point of his career is the best part of his game. I forsee him being a top 5 player in the state by his junior year.

Cameron Davis
Cameron Davis
Davis is a big time athlete that can play both on and off ball. He helps run the show for them getting players involved and being a stable contributor. I love his defensive versatility and tenacity, especially when he is guarding the ball. He puts an immense amount of pressure and makes it hard for teams to get into offense. Plays with an extreme level of confidence and way beyond his years.
Gilbert is a tough, hard nosed guard with a high level motor. He is incredibly efficient that can score at all three levels and affect the game without scoring. Although a strong part of his game is driving to the basket, he is a very good 3pt shooter especially shooting in rhythm. He has the ability to get hot and rattle off a few shots in a row. Gilbert is a really solid piece for them.

Langhi is versatile wing with great positional size. Plays with great pace and never seems to get sped up which is rare for his age. He is bit of a mismatch nightmare with his size and quickness as bigger defenders have trouble staying in front of him but if teams put a smaller guy on him he can shoot over them. Has a good looking shot with 3pt range off the catch, especially when given time and space. Going to be a very good player for a lot of years for Marshall County.

Kinney is one of the best players in the state and only a sophomore. He has really grown up this season playing more confident and got stronger. I’ve never seen him get sped up as he plays composed and with great pace. He always seems to make the big play for them when it comes to crunch time. Although he got banged up in the region championship game, I could see him leading this team to a state title.
Turner may have the most potential of any player in this tournament. He has elite athleticism with great size and has the ability to take over the game on both sides of the ball, especially defensively. In a pinch, he can guard 1-5 because of his quickness, but he makes it extremely hard for anyone to score at the rim. When sprinting the floor in transition, he can beat any big man that guards him down the floor to get easy baskets. On top of it all, he has 3pt range off the catch. Big time prospect.
Zak Anderson
Zak Anderson
Anderson is one of the best stretch 4’s in the state. Has great size, can play both on the perimeter and around the basket and can guard most positions on the floor. Has a really good IQ and moves to spots on the floor to get easy baskets. He has a really good feel in pick and roll situations as a screener as he can feel if he should roll, slip or pop. What makes him such a threat is his ability to shoot the ball at a high clip from 3. Big time player.
Johnson is a high volume shot taker and maker that can score from all three levels. He is a big time threat from 3pt range which opens up the game for him to drive the basketball. He has the ability to get hot and carry this team to win 4 straight games in this tournament with his ability to score the basketball. An explosive athlete with great strength is already on many college coaches radar. He is not only one of the best 2026’s in the state, he is one of the best 2026’s in the nation.
White is an athletic wing that also has a ton of potential garnering division 1 interest. Only being a freshman, he plays with an extreme level of confidence. With his size and athleticism, he is incredibly hard to guard at the high school level and is at his best when the game gets up tempo. The next level of his game to develop is getting his jump shot more consistent. Big time player.
