1. Dooney Johnson Dooney Johnson 6'5" | SG Milwaukee Juneau | 2027 State WI – SG – Milwaukee Juneau
This kid is the real deal. Not only is Johnson super talented, but by all accounts, he has a great head on his shoulders and can handle the hype coming his way. Part of a 13-3 Juneau squad, Johnson is putting up 26 points and nine rebounds per game. Johnson already holds a high major scholarship offer from Nebraska.
2. Jack Kohnen Jack Kohnen 6'5" | SF Slinger | 2027 State WI – SF – Slinger
Kohnen is averaging just shy of 19 points per game. He also leads Slinger in rebounding (12.3) and assists (3.5). At 6-foot-5, Kohnen has a good blend of skill and strength. Looks like a prospect who can do a little bit of everything and has very few holes in his game.
3. Jalen Brown Jalen Brown 6'5" | SF Wauwatosa West | 2027 State WI – SF – Wauwatosa West
Speaking of able to do everything, Brown can absolutely stuff a stat sheet. If he weren’t playing alongside two Division 1 players, he’d be putting up huge numbers for the Trojans. A 6-foot-5 point-wing, Brown is still getting 14 points, five rebounds, and five assists per game. Not only that, Brown is a kid that guard 4-5 positions right now.
4. Donovan Davis Donovan Davis 6'7" | PF Freedom | 2027 State WI – SF – Freedom
Strong, athletic wing that’s physically advanced for his age. Davis leads Freedom in scoring (16.9), rebounding (10.3), and assists (4.4). Davis does a lot of damage on the glass. He never quits on a play, think every rebound is his, and really understands positioning under the rim. He can slash, but if the rest of his skills catch up to his measurables/motor…watch out.
5. Tref Rademaker Tref Rademaker 6'8" | PF West De Pere | 2027 State WI – F – West De Pere
Has the tools to really develop into a mismatch nightmare. The 6-foot-7 freshman is a long, lanky combo forward type prospect that can hurt you inside and out. Averaging 14 points and eight rebounds per game, Rademaker is a prospect that could really take off the by time his junior year rolls around.
6. Timothy West Timothy West 6'0" | SG Madison Edgewood | 2027 State WI – SG – Madison Edgewood
West has a lot of tools as a scorer. Shows confidence and ability from all three levels. Also rebounds the ball really well for his size (6-1) and has playmaking tools when he gets two feet in the paint. Certainly doesn’t suffer from tunnel vision and keeps his eyes up. West is averaging 15 points, six rebounds, and three assists per game during his freshman season.
7. Max Jones – SG – West Allis Central
Averaging 15 points per game next to the top sophomore in the state. At 6-foot-3, Jones has an attacking mindset and makes you pick your poison as a defender with his pull-up shooting ability. A big, strong wing, Jones can play a little bully ball too and just muscle people out of his way.
8. Reece Jordan Jr Reece Jordan Jr 6'1" | CG Madison East | 2027 State WI . – SG – Madison East
Skilled and fundamentally sound, Jordan is averaging 13 points per game in a strong Madison East backcourt. The lefty has a mean step-back game and knows how to fool defenders and get them off balance when he gets them on an island. Come next season, expect Jordan to be a big scorer in the Big Eight and someone teams need to throw multiple defenders at, forcing the ball out of his hands.
9. Tyler Wollin Tyler Wollin 6'4" | SF Lake Mills | 2027 State WI – SF – Lake Mills
Averaging 12 points per game for a 19-3 Lake Mills squad, Wollin is a strong, versatile forward. He’s got a sweet stroke from deep, some deceptive athleticism when he drives to the rim, and a post-up game at 6-foot-5. Wollin, who plays a little point-forward as well, is also averaging an impressive six assists per game along with eight rebounds.
10. Trey Resch Trey Resch 6'2" | CG Arrowhead | 2027 State WI – G – Arrowhead
A high-IQ prospect that can play either guard spot, Resch gives Arrowhead solid backup point guard play and a 3-point shooting threat. Part of a 19-2 squad, Resch is averaging eight points per game. Looks to be a stout defender as well as someone who will develop lockdown ability as he gets older.
