We're previewing the top teams in each Division heading into the 2023-24 season and we've made it to Division II where after posting our initial top five, have the rest of our top 10 to unveil.

6. Cincinnati Wyoming

One of the younger teams on this list, this team is led by a 2026 guard trio of [player_tooltip player_id='1888254' first='Kellen' last='Wiley'], [player_tooltip player_id='1925832' first='Darren' last='Gray'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2204924' first='Devin' last='Evans']. With these three maturing and ready to lead the team, I expect Wyoming to again be at the top of the Cincinnati Hills League.

7. Columbus Bishop Hartley

Another one of the younger teams in the top 10 list from any Division, this is the year I expect Hartley to make a deep playoff run. The Calloway twins will lead them from the guard position and [player_tooltip player_id='1701047' first='Pharez' last='Nicholas'] is an athletic forward who fits in with their aggressive defensive style. The Columbus Catholic League will be a grind this year but Hartley have the pieces to win the conference title and make a push to Dayton.

8. Columbus Bishop Ready

After an unbeaten regular season and a final four appearance, Bishop Ready says goodbye to their great 2023 senior class. They have some players who are hungry to show they can also contribute to winning basketball with senior guards [player_tooltip player_id='2122256' first='Micah' last='Germany'], Andreas Gordan and Josh Paul. [player_tooltip player_id='1954721' first='Kayden' last='Schaffer'] is a breakout candidate as a Junior and [player_tooltip player_id='1990711' first='Uthman' last='Sherif'] will command the paint. This team still has the talent to be one of the best in Division II this season.

9. Toledo Central Catholic

The transfer of [player_tooltip player_id='1432039' first='Makhi' last='Leach'] hurts but I think [player_tooltip player_id='1985934' first='Manny' last='Johnson'] is going to have a huge breakout season and establish himself as one of the best players in the Toledo area this winter. Combine that with star freshman Isaiah Mack Russell and senior [player_tooltip player_id='1225067' first='Isaiah' last='Brenneman'] and the Irish won't be an easy out. Playing a tough schedule will also have them ready come playoff time, a team to watch in Division II.

10. Cleveland Glenville

After winning back-to-back district championships, Glenville again should be one of the top Division II teams in northeast Ohio. Always one of the most athletic teams in the state, the Tarblooders usually have a couple football prospects competing on the hardwood. Sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='1845820' first='Theo' last='Castro'] is a returning starter who will play a major role while [player_tooltip player_id='2052131' first='Lorenzo' last='Staley'] provides nice size in the paint.
