Our highest ranked debut in this update cycle, Zerger helped Berlin Hiland win a state title and was a big boost for the Hawks on both ends of the court. After winning that state title, many people from across the state got to learn about Zerger's talents. Zerger is an impressive athlete who plays above the rim and finishes with dunks and layups in the paint. Zerger will play for a local grassroots team this summer, which means Division I coaches will likely prioritize watching him during the June live period.

Zumberge is another player who improved their stock at the state tournament, helping Columbus Academy make the Division V state title. A skilled big man, Zumberge can stretch the floor and use his size to score through smaller opponents. That combination will be valuable for [program_tooltip program_id='2320052' first='All' last='Ohio Red'], as they'll have the size up and down their roster to compete with other 16 U EYBL programs. Having a stretch forward can be a big boost in the EYBL, being able to rebound and defend the paint without sacrificing floor spacing on the offensive end. Expect Zumberge to become a more household name with college coaches this summer.

Andrew's Osborne Academy made a big splash onto the OHSAA scene this season, winning a district title with a very young group. Tisma is a fluid athlete for his size with the ability to explode off two feet and hit shots on the perimeter. Already holding an offer to Fairmont State University, Tisma is on the early radar of college coaches and I expect him to make a big jump in production next season.

Reynoldsburg has been producing top college prospects over the past few seasons and while they lost four Division I commits to graduation between the 2025 and 2026 classes, Perry is in a strong 2028 class for the Raiders that should keep them competitive with the best teams in the OCC. Perry is a tough wing who can score at the rim and plays strong on-ball defense. Perry has also grown over the past year, showing some continued physical development. I expect Perry to blossom into a star next season for the Raiders and become a household name across central Ohio.

The fourth leading scorer for Lakota West this season, Richardson had double-digit scoring outputs in conference wins over Princeton, Hamilton, Oak Hills and Colerain last season. The undersized guard provides excellent on-ball defensive pressure and can also provide dribble drive slashing ability to the paint with the ball in his hands. Shooting 87% from the free-throw line, I would expect Richardson's 3-point percentage to jump significantly next season from the 27% he shot this winter. With so much of the Firebirds core expected to return next season, they'll be among the favorites to win the state title in 2026-27.
