Another player who we scouted on the Prep Hoops Circuit, Germany took a big step as a scorer this winter. A guard who had a good frame, made an impact defensively and could make plays for others, Germany became a much-improved shooter on a Bishop Ready squad that needed the scoring punch after graduating their top three scorers from a season ago. College coaches can catch Germany at the 270 Hoops Unsigned senior showcase on Thursday at Central Crossing High School.

A player we saw on the Prep Hoops Circuit with his Nova Village squad, Germany has taken a pretty big step since the last time I saw him play in the summer. A more confident shooter from the outside, Bishop Ready runs a pretty offense and executed their sets at a high level. Germany was the guy running off screens and getting open to let it fly from long distance. I was also impressed with Germany’s hands, making some tough catches in traffic to put him in position to make easy shots. When you run an offense that relies on passing and off-ball movement, having players that go to the ball in traffic can make all the difference.

Germany was one of the very few bright spots for Bishop Ready on Friday night. Ready made a strong comeback effort in the 4th quarter and Germany was the one leading the way because he had 18 points in the 4th. Yes, he finished the game with 25, and 18 of those points came in the fourth. For most of the game, he showed his really good slashing ability and effort. He played hard the entire game. His athleticism, specifically quickness, and length, let him be really effective. He creates disruption on the defensive end and can be a really good defender at the next level. Germany in the 4th quarter showed off his sniper-like shooting ability. He was getting his shot up quick and needed no space to do it. The ball comes off his hand with perfect rotation. He did a great job of shooting off the dribble.

A Prep Hoops Circuit standout this spring, Germany was getting it done for the Nova Village 17 U Prep Hoops Circuit team. A taller combo guard with the ability to play on or off the ball, Germany could create for himself and hit shots off the bounce at a high clip. After playing next to a trio of seniors that ran the show for Bishop Ready last season, their new look squad is ready to make some noise this season. With Germany,
