Second Team
A new name I learned about this season, Ediger had some huge scoring performances and also battled defensively. A name to watch in north central Ohio over the next few seasons.
A teammate with Ediger in the back-court, Bowman showed off his impressive handle and athleticism for his size. Also a dangerous 3-point shooter from downtown, Bowman is one of the most talented prospects in the Licking County League. He will make his debut in our next rankings update as well.
One of the most athletic wings in central Ohio, Parish continues to evolve his game and make an impact. Dangerous in transition and able to use his length to score in the paint, Parish is also a spot-up threat when he can get set up by his guard teammates in the drive and kick game. A small college priority for a handful of regional programs.
Highlights
Columbus Academy have a lot to be excited about next season and it seems like Davis is ready to take a step and become one of the best small school talents in central Ohio. With his athleticism and length, he can give opposing studs trouble when he guards them and he’s a capable scorer as well.
Another big-time athlete, Nieves helped his team win the championship as he’s tough to stop in the open court. The chemistry his team has built over the summer certainly paid off in this fall league as their team shared the ball and got open shots. Thomas Worthington could surprise some people this winter with some of their returning pieces and new faces coming together this winter.
Our final member of the second team, Gilbert is a force in the paint and was able to block shots all day at the rim when guards tried driving on him. Gilbert is set for a strong senior season after building positive momentum throughout this fall league.
