After watching a number of them play in high school during the 2022-23 season and then again in club ball this spring, we've made some changes to the Class of 2026 rankings. With this update, there were a bunch of guys we saw enough of to move from the watchlist into the ranked players area. Here's a look at some of the top ones who jumped onto the list.

[player_tooltip player_id='1606556' first='Ty' last='Read'] | C | Sheldon | #12

Arguably the best big man in the class to this point, Read already stands 6-foot-9 and could still be growing. He runs the floor well, has some basic moves in the post, and has been developing his touch around the hoop. Lots of upside for sure.

[player_tooltip player_id='1607597' first='Drew' last='Groenig'] | SG | Southridge | #14

Sometimes the phrase "no conscience" is a bad thing but for Groenig it's a positive considering how well he shoots the ball. His play playing up this spring with GRIT and with Southridge in June has shown that he can make shots and is likely ready for varsity ball next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1582934' first='Jeremiah' last='Pichon'] | PG | Cleveland | #18

The younger brother of Jamel isn't as physically built yet but is on his way there. He's a creative ball-handler and probably a better scorer than his older brother at this point and should be ready for increased time at the varsity level this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1606557' first='Dache' last='Acelar'] | CG | Benson | #20

Acelar probably played the most out of all the freshmen that saw time for Benson this past season and at times was in the starting lineup. He's a solid shooter and passer and is going to take what the defense gives him rather than force the issue.

[player_tooltip player_id='1606063' first='Brody' last='Rygh'] | SF | Sherwood | #22

With his length and athleticism, Rygh oozes potential. The rising sophomore can step out and knock down threes but also finish at the rim easily in transition. With added strength and physical maturity, expect his profile to rise.

[player_tooltip player_id='1653212' first='Kareem' last='Artharee'] | SF | Gresham | #24

The second-oldest son of a former D-I big man, Artharee has continued to get bigger and more confident with his game. With Gresham's graduation losses, look for him to have a more increased role where he'll contribute with his length, athleticism, and motor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1602196' first='Rafael' last='Ochoa'] | CG | North Salem | #28

Already fairly physically well-built, Ochoa cut his teeth at the varsity level last season and is ready for an increased role on a still very young North Salem squad. He can really get to the basket and finish at the cup.
