His mid-range game is always on, he’s a great outside shooter, and he’s a crafty, acrobatic finisher who thrives attacking the rim as a slasher. With a tight handle and elite basketball IQ, he consistently creates high-quality looks for himself and others. A fast, dynamic point guard, Lake combines a lightning-quick first step with great control of the game, allowing him to attack defenders and create scoring opportunities. He’s a great shooter who can stretch the floor, but also thrived putting pressure on the defense with his speed and decision-making. Beyond the scoring, Lake stood out as a true leader and relentless hard worker who never gives up on a play, consistently setting the tone for his team on both ends of the floor.

Lake is a crafty, high-IQ guard who always seems to be under control with the ball. Lake also contributed on the glass, protected the rim, and knocked down free throws while playing as a true team-first guard.

Normally when you score 31 points & lead your team to a convincing victory, you garner a little more attention. Lake has set the bar pretty high for himself & lived up to that on Friday. The senior combo guard scored from all over the court as the Timberwolves cruised to the victory over Gresham.
