Our pick for MVP of the 15U division was Nunez, who helped lead A-Train Oregon Magic to the Super 24 tournament title. The rising sophomore is a brilliant marksman from deep as whenever he got a clean look, you could pretty much count on it going in. Far from just a standstill shooter, he was also able to get to the hoop where he capably finished through contact and he was a deft passer as well. He announced during the tournament that he’ll be transferring to Tualatin for the 2026-27 season.
Perhaps the most impressive freshman in the league this season, Nunez has consistently been among the Black Tornado’s top scorers, using his impressive frame and outside shooting ability to make an early impact in the Southwest Conference. Also a terrific ball-handler and shot creator at 6-foot-2, Nunez possesses a staggering combination of skill and composure for his age and size.
