The top scorer we saw on the day was Pichon who seemingly was able to get buckets whenever he wanted to. He was sharp with his jumper, hitting a number of perimeter shots including a trio of threes, but was also very active getting to the basket for finishes through contact. A transfer from Cleveland, Pichon has settled into a nice groove with his teammates at Gresham. As part of new head coach Cliff White’s perimeter oriented attack, the junior has played multiple positions and contributed in multiple ways on both ends of the floor. While his future college spot will likely be as a point guard, his versatility has allowed him to continue growing his game as both a scorer and a distributor.
