Tremendous balance between scoring and passing from Foster in the action we saw all weekend as the Gresham sophomore continues to mature as a point guard. He was on target with his outside shooting, was capable of getting to the basket to create for himself or get the ball to teammates for scores. Good effort from him on the defensive end as well.

showed why he’s a promising young guard. The sophomore combo guard is quick and versatile, capable of impacting the game in multiple ways. Foster knocked down shots from the outside and finished with 11 points, showing confidence as a scorer. He’s also a good passer who sees the floor well, attacks the rim when lanes open up, and shoots effectively off the catch, making him a tough cover for defenders.

Elevating himself into a starting role this season at Gresham has been Foster, who has developed from being just a lights out shooter to running the point guard. Offensively, his tear-drop floater in the lane has also become a weapon but when he’s hot from the outside, there are very few in the state who can cool him down.

Foster is a fast, shifty left-handed guard who creates problems with the ball in his hands. He’s a solid defender and a reliable three-point shooter who can score in bunches. Foster finished with 16 points.

The 5-foot-10 Greshman sophomore can still drain the three with ease, but he’s also grown with his point guard play and he probably ranked as one of the top assist men at the event. There was great balance between looking for his own offense and setting up others and his name was one that was mentioned by many as one of the top performers. (JT)

Foster caught our eye at the Freshman Showcase last year with his ability to get hot from distance. . His confidence to put up shots was what stood out about his game. If he got an open look, he was shooting it. In transition, he found himself as one of the primary ball handlers and made shots getting to the rim.

One thing was clear from the start of the season – Foster was one of the top outside shooters we’ve seen in quite some time. The 5-foot-9 guard quickly proved he was a sniper from three, both off the catch and shoot and creating his own shot. At the end of the year he was a major offensive threat for Gresham, averaging 11.3 points shooting over 43 percent for three – but also as a shot creator, averaging a team-high 4.1 assists. Foster has been performing at a high level for the Cascade Kings this spring.

Foster is a quick guard who shot the three ball pretty well and showed some tenacity on the defensive end. He was able to make some sneaky plays, attacking long rebounds, peeling back in transition to pressure the ball, and upping his pace the other way to attack defenses that were slow to get back in transition.
