Here’s a look at some players outside the top 10 of the rankings with high prospect ceilings.
Craig showed out at our Freshman showcase this month and was a clear top performer. He’s long and athletic with the ability to knock down shots from range. If Walker adds any more height, he’ll be a nightmare matchup for opposing teams with his size. As it is, he looks like a future D1 recruit at the wing position.
Reviews on Jackson are all over the map. Some say he’s a top 5 player in the class. Others say top 30. He starts at the 15 spot and we’ll track his progress over the high school season for sure. Jeremiah is another player who can be a D1 recruit on the wing in time as he grows and his game keeps developing.
King was another forward prospect that shined at our Showcase a couple of weeks ago. Simon looks like he has plenty more growing left to do and already flashed a good skill level. It’s early but I’d think the forward will see plenty of playing time for the Eagles this upcoming season.
Highlights
Jackson is a player that I’ve only seen on film as of now but what I did see was impressive. Klope is a big body who elevates well and has shown the ability to make plays in the open court. I’m told that Jackson’s dad was a football player at Kentucky so Klope has D1 genetics. He could be an impact player soon in the first region.
Another LCA player rounds out this list but Sam left a strong impression at the Freshman showcase and he carries himself and runs his team like a Chris Paul type of floor general. LCA is super young again this season but Sam should push for playing time right away and could be their best long term option at the point guard spot as he keeps growing and developing.
